Difficult time

Itisbroke, what pump do you have ? MS ? Tenacio ? That's kind of a "hands on" question -- did you go thru the inflation/deflation process with your Dr's office ?

Ihave a AMS 700™ Inflatable Penile Prosthesis for 2 months now. I just can't pump the damn thing. It takes all the strength I have to squeeze the pump/ball. Any idea. Ii am very frustrated and feeling like I made a bad decision. I can't get it to not roll around.'Any suggestions helpful?

MS pump - yes been to doc 2 times for this and he says to be patient. Well shit, I have been patient for 2 1/2 years waiting to correct my ED and now I can't pump the thing. So depressed.

So, at 7 1/2 weeks, I am now having sex. The pain is manageable. But, with a mostly numb dick, I’m unable to cum. I’ve tried masterbating several times, but it’s as if there is no longer a connection between my dick and my brain. After each sex session, I feel like I’m about to explode. Itisbroke, sorry to hear that, it must be very frustrating. Did your Dr inflate it at the office ? If so, did he seem to struggle while inflating or did it seem to go ok for him ? The difference is that if it inflated ok for him, then the challenge is technique which is very fixable. If he struggled to inflate it then maybe there's a question about the mechanics of the implant. Also, I didn't start cycling until almost 8 weeks due to unusual swelling, and it was difficult. Do you have continued swelling ?

im almost 4 months post op, and my shaft at the top is still numb. Once i get to the skin before the head i have sensation. The entire penis except the top part of my shaft i can actually feel. It was id say 4 weeks before i had sex. And i came pretty easy. I thanked the lord every day after that. Ive read the stories.

Was your surgery IP or PS? I'm trying to get a feel if guys with sensation issues are more likely to have had one vs. the other.

I hope it's just a bug that's fixable with minor involvement..
What's your surgeon's take on this ?


If (god forbid) it necessitates a whole replacement of the device, I suggest you get a malleable (semi-rigid) and buy a peace of mind.

I was missing feeling for 1/2 year. Probably because nerves removed during prostatectomy glans blood flow didnt return till year 4. Love it now. 7 yrs later.
