Inflation Percentages

I read in a lot of posts about how the doctor inflated to 50%, or someone leaves their dick inflated to 20% most of the time, etc. Having just passed the 10 day mark since my implant, I have no idea how to estimate how inflated it is. What would be considered zero inflation? What is 100% There must be a method, but I'm clueless about how to estimate this.

you won't be able to determine that reliably until all your healing is complete and your pump wears in, probably close to a year.

I can pump my implant from as empty as I can get it until the bulb is rock hard in 20 full pumps. My wife prefers 16 pumps, so I know now that when I pump 16 times I'm at 80%. When I fully deflated and pump 4 times, I'm at 20%.

With all the swelling an trauma you're still experiencing, I don't know that there is a reliable way to determine at what level of inflation you are, other than the doc telling you "I inflated you to 50% while you heal".

Tuscan_Order, that's a good question. For me -- deflated is 0%. Pumped until the pump is like a marble 100%. Everything in between is 'well this feels about half full'. Or, like 1/4 full, which is where I usually leave it.

Zero is all the saline squeezed out of the cylinders, max for me is 28 pumps and the pump is about out of fluid, not quite yet but almost, I guess my max will be around 30-35 pumps tops, I don't think I will pump that much because I think I am about as stretched as I am going to get.

I don't think "percentage" i is particularly useful way to think about it. I prefer to focus on different stages my cock goes through as I inflate it. When it is fully, fully deflated, my cock is kind of flat and odd. It's not so much that it looks strange (though it does a little) as that it feels strange. You can tell that the implant has compressed down to a flat ribbon as opposed to a tube. Put your hand on it and it just feels funny. So the first stage is when it's pumped enough that it no longer has that odd feeling. It doesn't take that much for it to feel rounder and more normal.

The second stage is when it feels like I'm just a little aroused. It shows a little in my pants. I have pumped it to this level sometimes at the start of a date, and I've gotten a look and a smile from women who didn't know that I had an implant. Before a date, I'll definitely pump to level 1, and maybe to level 2.

The third stage is hard enough for sex. It actually doesn't have to be all that hard, because you can squeeze the bottom a bit to get it in.

The fourth stage is the hardest that it can be and still be held down by my jeans. (For me, that's over to the right.) It can still bend over at the base without it looking too pornographic, but overall it is reasonably stiff. Conveniently, this "still fits in the pants" level is harder than is required for sex. It's a little floppy, but a quick squeeze at the bottom is plenty for the tip to slide in, as long as she's nice and slippery. (And if she's not, why am I sliding the tip in?)

The fifth stage is "too hard to fit in my pants." I mean, we could argue about this exact level, but the point is that it's quite hard and really tenting the pants, even thicker material like jeans. Not a good look for walking around.

And finally, stage six is harder than my non-bionic cock ever was. I mean, we could try for more levels between '"five" and "hard as possible", but I think it's those lower levels that matter more, in terms of managing my erection.

Being at 0% inflation it takes like 80 something pumps to get fully hard. and its not even fully healed or fully expanded yet. I keep it at 0% for now unless i use it because i want the capsule to be as big as the reservoir when its fully deflated.

I think when the doc says it's x% inflated I would say it's probably an educated guess.
We are all different lengths and girths both externally and internally, with different brands, models and sizes of implants.
My surgeon told me he left me inflated to 30% for the 6 weeks pre activation. I pretty much had a very hard but undersized boner at that level.
After about 4 weeks of cycling I can now pump it to almost my original size, and even harder, but I can only tell you a rough number of pumps until I'm fully erect. Currently I'm similar to Vitalssk, around 80-ish before I'm struggling to squeeze any more out of the implant. That number seems to be slowly increasing a bit the more I cycle, and I can often get just a little more from doing "mini pumps". Any level between completely deflated and fully erect I would just be guessing.
