Angle of the dangle!

Postby 2451cs » Mon Jun 09, 2014 3:09 pm

Received AMS 700 CX on April 17/14. Following Racical Prostatectomy August 1999.
Had my inflate/deflate visit one week ago (June 2). Laying on the table the surgeon pumped several time to show me the method to use. Had me try to inflate about 10 pumps, penis was very firm, then he had me deflate. I have been doing it 2 or 3 times daily giving it about 20 pumps each time and leaving it for at least 15 minutes each time. Have even pumped as many as 30 times with the same results.

My dilemma - when deflated hangs at about 30 degrees. When fully inflated only rises to about 45 degrees, gets nowhere near 90 degrees. At 45 degrees it doesn't work for penetration. I have attempted to hold it against my abdomen while pumping but that makes no difference.
I have a call to my surgeon for his suggestion and am awaiting a reply.
Can anyone here provide advice?

2451cs,
You (nor the doctor) can not change the "angle of the dangle" ... are you sure you are maxed pumped, when you say you hang at 45 degrees? Due to the amount of pumps you describe (30) it sounds to me like these are only partial pumps ... thus you may not be maxed out?

Most Implants do not go to 90 degrees ...

Like Bio, I feel you are not getting full squeezes. I was much the same way at first having around 25 pumps to get to max. After a couple of weeks of once to three times a day of I/D exercises I eventually discovered a better grip and noted that I could easily get more from a better squeeze. Once you find it you will feel the difference. With 12-14 good pumps I am now to point of not a full squeeze left. Good luck. b

That pump will get easier with use, mine did. With my Titian about 5 full pumps is enough. You can do more but you don't need to. Mine is about 90 degrees when erect. I guess everyone is different.

I recall I had to resort to two hand pumping until my hands cramped. Over time, I eventually got the dangle angle improved. A few other guys have described the same thing as me: you're pumped up, then out of no-where, there was a sharp "pop" feeling and then from then on I could pump up a lot more and the angle improved. Weird.
