Days missed from work after surgery
Days missed from work after surgery
Just wonder how much time people had to take off from work
Re: Days missed from work after surgery
About a week and a half.
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.

10 days for me
Re: Days missed from work after surgery
I had surgery on a tuesday and drove (35 rt miles) for 2-3 mostly chair work hours on the following tuesday. Seven days was a little early as I was tired of sitting and ready to get home to couch and maybe a ice pack. The next (two weeks) I worked normal half on tuesday and full retail job on Wed. made it fine. I would agree to ten day projection but only for light duty, maybe two weeks a better number and still keeping some limit on lift load. I probably stretched lift load while bored around the house and even (foolishly) tackled the riding lawnmower perhaps to early. Boredom can sometimes push one into things they might not should be doing. Generally, you will know when you are overdoing it.....try to let common sense rule. Also remember that the anesthetic from most any invasive surgery can cause a weakness and blah feeling for a few days. Bet you will do fine, just don't plan to much to early.
