Greetings,
I have spent the last 3 years reviewing hundreds of scientific studies for natural solutions to ED. After finding multiple studies that support how to support hardness I wrote a book, which will be published in July, 2014. Here are two examples of supplements and exercises that can help men get hard again.
Arginine and Pycnogenol (pine bark extract) > helps 92% of men get harder
Treatment of erectile dysfunction with Pycnogenol and L-arginine
R. Stanislavov & V. Nikolova (Bulgaria)
Kegels, when done properly and regularly > 75% of men get harder
Pelvic floor exercises for erectile dysfunction - Dorey - 2005 - BJU International - Wiley Online Library
Pelvic floor exercises for erectile dysfunction. [BJU Int. 2005] - PubMed - NCBI
Can't link the studies. Google pubmed and copy and paste the study title to see them for yourself.
There are more, and that's what motivated me to write a book. This information is so important for men to feel like real men.
I look forward to contributing to this forum.
Cheers!

The title is Get Hard, Stay Hard - Naturally. It will be an ebook initially.
get-harder.com is the website. Release will be mid-July. I will be blogging there also to share some more information. There is a lot of non-helpful information online about E.D., especially since some supplements and exercises are getting more success than ED drugs. No marketing dollars behind the non-patentable supplement though.

Re: natural solutions to ED
I've been working on a series of 5 to 6 blog posts as my blog is still in its infancy. While prepping and reviewing information it really hit me how big a deal ED is. Ya, I knew this stuff before, but focusing on writing the book (now out for final edit), and getting the website up had pulled my attention away from the actual mechanics of ED.
The link between ED and heart disease has really been solidifying in terms of research. The big medical websites are still underplaying this which does not help. If often takes a few years for cutting edge research to get to either medical professionals or the public. My goal is to short cut alot of that for ED sufferers.
I'll paint a brief picture here.
The arteries that supply blood to your cock are about 1-2mm in diameter. 80% of ED is about blood flow.
What that means is that when you first get ED symptoms it's a warning sign that you have a blood flow problem.
Coronary arteries are 3-4mm in diameter, so if your cock is not getting the blood it needs for an awesome erection it's just a matter of time before the arteries around your heart start to have serious problems... UNLESS you start to take action to change this.
Let's look at what blood flow problem are all about.
It can be a combination of things, but arterial plaque and damaged endothelial cells are the core issues. LOL, I'd better explain that a bit. Arterial plaque is something most of us have heard of... too much blood fat, chronic inflammation, smoking, heavy alcohol use, diabetes, oxidative damage... these are all causative factors.
Endos, my nickname for Endothelial cells, are tiny, but oh so important, muscle cells that line your arteries. They are only ONE cell thick. If they contract your blood pressure is raised. If they relax (bingo!) then your blood pressure goes down. The problem is Endos are easily damaged by the blood environment. They are particularly vulnerable to oxidative stress > read as smoking, high blood pressure, being a couch potato. Supplementing with antioxidants (enough of the potent ones) helps to protect your Endos. Healthy Endos can then contract and relax much more easily.
Healthy Endos are also kind of like Teflon... nothing sticks to them. So, taking care of your Endos goes a long way toward lowering blood pressure (naturally) and toward preventing heart and circulatory issues.
ED = ED
Erectile Dysfunction = Endothelial Disease
When men get ED 2/3 of them are 3-5 years away from their first heart attack!!! ED is a warning sign.
This is something that doctors and the media should be shouting from rooftops, but they aren't.
1/2 of all men in the U.S. die from heart or cardiovascular disease (heart attack & stroke mostly). Any man who is not actively taking care of the pump and the pipes (heart and arteries) is likely to be one of these statistics.
ED = ED = CVD (Cardiovascular Disease).

I have been researching on the causes of ED for years, but this single link between ED and CVD is such a big deal.

Andy,
Your excellent explanations reminded me of this saying .. which I claim Copyright but you are welcome to use in your book:
Love is a matter of chemistry.
Sex is a matter of physics.
But ERECTIONS are a matter of Hydraulics!
The technical foundation of your program sounds solid to me. (And for me I confess the Couch Potato part -- need more cardio for sure).
Looking forward to seeing the book.

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.
Re: natural solutions to ED
Thanks! LOL
I like your quote.
Erections are mostly about hydraulics in actually happening or not. More important is the chemistry that dictates the quality of the hydraulic equipment.
Get enough blood to your cock and you can get an erection.
Keep enough blood there and you can keep it hard longer.
Those are the two primary goals in getting and maintaining a solid erection.
The devil is in the details (in the spirit of pithy sayings)
The details lay in what effects artery quality. Enough NO (nitric oxide) and the signaling system will work. Healthy Endos (endothelial cells) and the blood WILL flow. The chemistry that helps all this happen is the key. What affects that chemistry most? Diet, exercise (amount and quality), and supplements. Underlying medical problems make this more challenging, but they can't stop it!
Two other pieces of the puzzle include the neurotransmitters (mostly acetylcholine) that send the signals for arousal... and finally, dopamine receptors that determine what level and type of stimulation will actually trigger a high level of arousal in the first place. This last piece is at the core of PIED (porn induced ED).
These are all things we can affect.
Thanks again, J
