Can Heart Medications Improve Erections?

I read that heart medications like Cardura can boost erections. I ask this because I feel like my blood vessels are narrowing, my heart is working harder to pump more blood and my erectons have become worse. Has anyone here tried heart medications that have improved their erectile dysfunction?

I have been using Ramipril prescribed by my doctor because I have Type 2 diabetes. My blood pressure is not high but my doctor considers that a slightly lower pressure is a good for diabetics. Ramipril gives about 20% of patients a dry cough. I asked my Doctor for a change and he has prescribed Losartan ( a generic so not expensive ). If you Google " Losartan and Erectile Dysfunction" you will see that studies suggest that it improves erection quality for many using it. I only started using it today so cannot yet tell if it helps.

Hi Al if as you say you think your hearts pumping extra hard, have you had this checked up, have you done any kind of stress test, or even a simple blood test to see how your bloods doing, perhaps your blood needs thinning, perhaps you have to much plaque in it, been eating to many fast foods or junk foods these will do it.
I would really get some tests done before you start tracking done heart drugs.

Hi Al, Had the thinking cap on, have you thought of doing some jelqing, by doing this exercise it will help get blood down you penis, I'm not talking doing a big program of it, say just 10 minutes a day. Also try doing some kegels this will help pump blood down your penis, and these you can do anywhere and at any time.

Just go to www.pegym.com on there just look under exercises your find out how to do both, these may help with getting your penis to stay up for longer.

Hi Nowhard. Yeah, I will see a uro soon and get some blood tests done. Last year another uro blood tested me and said I lack vitamin B12 and my testosterone was low. He proscribed Clomid, if you remember me saying this on another thread. I havent tested my Ts since last year. But for 2 months under CLomid, I didnt notice improvement in erections or their quality.

And NO.. jelqing and penis exercises are VERY dangerous. There are many reports of permanent impotence by guys doing them. I know a few guys personally that have tried them and regret doing them.

Most heart medicines are blood thinners. Thinner blood means better blood flow to your cock.

A far prefer the natural methods to do this, but the heart drugs can have the effect you mention.

100 to 50 mg and substituted my diuretics for losartan. The next morning, I hard a morning wood so hard it hurt.

Losartan sounds interesting. I'll read up on it. Have you continued to get erections from this drug?
