I had an sci 3 years ago and my ed has gotten worse. pde-5 drugs worked at first, then injections, now I'm using a ved which works but the cock rings are uncomfortable and the penis sleeve reduces sensation too much. The VA is recommending an implant by an excellent surgeon, but I have reservations about the implant.
I'm afraid I may lose more sensitivity and possibly lose the ability to have penetrative sex again, not to mention the possible loss of penile length. I guess what I want to know is how much different is the feeling during sex with an implant compared to sex with a natural erection?

I'm a c-4 quadriplegic incomplete as of 1/1/11. I'm 66 years old with ed for for 6 years, went to dr. Raphael Carrion at the VA and am waiting for an appointment to perform an implant with a titan. Titan implanted on 12/8/17, 22cm with 1.5 cm rtes.

I have a similar c-4 SCI which caused nerve damage to the sacral nerve area resulting in ED problems. I was implanted this April 3 with an AMS 700LGX. So I'm about 3 1/2 months post op.
I have the same sexual feelings as I did before the surgery while on Viagra. I did suffer nerve damage to my sacral nerves which impacted in a negative way to my libido and sexual sensations.
I have the same length as before, my girth is slightly larger, and the surgeon told me on two occasions that my length would definitely increase over time and with use of the implant.
I hope you have the same great results that I did...............................

Wow, thanks, I feel a little better about it, I have central cord syndrome, so my hands aren't that good, but I think it'll be okay to pump with. So you use Viagra for the glans? Do they measure bone pressed or non bone pressed for penis size during the fitting?

I dont know how it was measured .
No, currently I don't use any ED meds for the glans. They seem to look natural and feel natural the wat they are. I guess the chambers keeps them with a more fuller look all the time.
