74 w male from Charleston area SC. Have scheduled surgery for Aug 25. Have enjoyed reading postings on this site and other who have shared there personal life with others. I posted on Craig's list and gone one good answer. Found from him to search of penile implant and found this site. I had prostrate cancer and took 38 radiations treatments and can not get up at all. I wait over a year to do this make sure radiation worked my PSA's now run .5 so feel comfortable mwe got the cancer early. Any one close please give me your thoughts.

I also had radiation for Prostate Cancer (PCa). Has anyone told you that your PSA will probably fluctuate a bit, probably going higher before
it settles down and then hopefully stays down. Will take about a year or so. So if at your next PSA check the number goes up a bit, don't panic.
That's pretty normal.
Hope you get a good implant and things get on the up and up again!

Prostate cancer age 65 with PSA 5.8. Biopsy Oct 2010. Gleason score of 7, 3+4 with perineural invasion. Stage II, T2cNXMX.
Jan-Feb 2011 radiation. Palladium-103 seed implant March 2011 (55 implants). Lupron treatment from Dec 2010 to Aug 2011 (8 months).

HADE USED MUSE YEARS AGO, AND SHOT TO NO SUCCESS.
HAVE USED TESTOSTERONE THERPY FOR @18 MO, NO SUCCESS EITHER.
hAVE PUMP BUT NOOT SCCESSFUL TO ORGASM. i'M 78 WITH NUMEROUSE
MAJOR AILMENTS. HAD A MAJOR HEART ISSUE AND Was put on a drug
of last resort. So will stop all therpies for awhile.

hey ron! billy from spartanburg here. i had my implant on july 29 and so far so good. i assume youve tried everything else? this was the last resort for me. if nothng else works...go fo it!
