Bad injection

Postby sliphill » Mon Aug 25, 2014 9:38 pm

I had a bad injection about 11 days ago. It was on the left side about in the middle of the shaft at 9 oclock. I think I didn't go in deep enough. I got a lot of resistance when pushing on the plunger, and there was a burning sensation. Anyways a bump appeared almost immediately at the site. There is still remnants of the bump. I'm worried that maybe this is scaring. I have injected twice on the right side a few times since without incident. I get such strong reactions from the bi mix. The last time I reduced the dose to 16 units. Still I got a 3 1/2 hour erection. I have to wonder if these long erections are harming my penis. I do like the hard erections, as the pills have stopped working for me. Any feedback appreciated.

I think the bump will gradually go away. I think scarring comes from multiple injections in the same spot. Obviously, I could be wrong on both counts.
I'd also keep cutting down the dosage til it's to your liking. I've heard if the erections aren't uncomfortable they may not do damage.

I asked my uro about scarring, and he said it wasn't all that common. FWIW: In 70 or so stabs, I've never had a bump or bruise; twice it was a dud reaction.

I also agree with Tomas: reduce the dose until you're more comfortable with it. I only take 6 units.
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.

Thanks Andy. I'm going to try 10 units next time.

The bump has gotten smaller over time. Sure hope it goes away. I have probably done 10 stabs so far.
