Very difficult time inflating, as well

Postby Huffy1 » Tue Aug 12, 2014 7:26 pm

I have gotten pretty familiar with the pump, and no longer have difficulty with the initial squeeze. But I seem to plateau around 50%. I continue pumping, despite the discomfort, but I don't get any more inflated. I texted Dr. Kramer, and he assured me that I just need to work on my technique. I can't see what I could do differently. Have other people had this problem, and can anyone offer any advice on how to fix it? BTW, I am 6 weeks post-op, AMS-700. Thanks in advance.

I am having the same problems with inflation I can get one good pump then a couple small pumps. It is always 50% so it is hard enough for sex! but not completely inflated. I am also very tendor around the pump and mainly around the deflate button. I am 10 weeks out from dr. Kramer and frustrated Thinking of waiting until the tenderness goes away before tring again.

You need to give it more time. 6-8 weeks is pretty early - it will get better with use. Mine (Titan) was difficult for at least 12 weeks, and gradual improvement continued after that.

I to am having the same problem withe the pump. I only get a max of 60-70%. I can pump all day and nothing else happen. It like there is not enough fluid in the holder. I don't see what else I can do to get more fluid going into penis. Has anyone else had this problem.

For you guys with pumping issues ... try the two-handed method:
http://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=932

Pumping gets easier with time ... as the cylinders stretch a bit, it's easier to pump. Even though it may seem like 1/4 or 1/2 pumps don't do anything ... it does! However you have to pump daily for about 1 hr. to see results ...

This method of forcing more fluid into the cylinders has worked for me.
After the easy pumps at the start of inflation stop try giving it a few seconds and then give it a rapid double pump with a few seconds between each time.

I have a hard time pumping my implant up and I had the surgery done on july 28, 2013 and wasn't done right so i had it redone 11/23/2013. SO here it is almost 10 months later and it is still a little hard to pump mine up and where the pump is sitting which is at the base of my shaft it is painful to especially deflate it and with my surgery I lost about 4 inches in length. I went from about 8 to about 4 inches. I am very disappointed in this. The doc said i should be at least 6 inches. Where the hell is the rest. I wish he would have left it pumped to 100% or at least 80% after surgery.

I had AMS 700 CX installed Apr/14. 4 months out the pumping has improved and reading posts here has helped with the technique. I can get it "hard as a rock" and can give it up to 40 pumps but find that it only rises to about a 45 degree angle. The "videos" from AMS and Coloplast show these amazing erectlions that rise to 90 degrees. Any one having similar issue. The 45 degree isn't a great angle for penetration.

2451cs,
The "45 degree" is more the norm ... 90 degree is the exception ...
