Buying pump. Need advice
Buying pump. Need advice
Based on what's available locally and what my insurance will pay part of I have two choices for my first pump. A Post-T-vac BOS 2000-3 which retails for $200-insurance pays 50% and a model made by Augusta which retails for $400- insurance pays 50%. Any recommendations on which way to go would be appreciated. I don't know the model of the Augusta.

Many of the pump companies offer "non medically" approved models which are very close to the "medically approved" models and sell for about $100. I got one (Impo-Aid by Encore) from e-Bay for $78.

I have found that the Encore pump has worked very well for me. I have been pumping for a year and a half for intercourse and I find the pump works great, I am able to have very good sex with my wife. Sex is a little different But it is still very satisfying for both me and my wife. One thing to remember it takes time but in the end the results are worth it.

I now have an implant, but have used many pumps. The best and easiest to use that I have found is the Bonro Vacurect. Just google it and you should be able to find one to buy.

One of the members gave me an Augusta Vitality pump several years ago and I also found it to be a very effective and actually prefer it over the ImpoAid Encore pump which I also use.

I have the Pos-T-Vac Boss 2000-2 battery pump and works great for me. Never tried the others, but wish someone would do a comparison test of all the major pumps!

Can you get rings on that pump?
