Hi all-
I just did my 1st injection this past weekend (not including the "training" at the Uro's office). All went well with the wife & I, other than not getting quite as much rigidity as we'd like. My questions are regarding what happened afterwards. Seems like the erection went down a bit after we were done, but I woke up around 3 am and was somewhat erect. It had been about 3 hours, so I got up to try to take care of things (really didn't want to go the ER!). 1st thing I did was go to urinate. While doing that, I started feeling VERY light headed and a little nauseous. Enough so that I tried to steady myself by holding onto the wall. Suddenly I lost my balance and fell. Luckily I didn't hit my head or lose consciousness, and as far as I can tell, that was the end of the dizziness. Back to treating the erection... I realized we had no Tylenol or Sudafed in the house- uggh. I used an ice pack and it eventually went down.
I'm a little concerned about the near fainting episode. Is this typical or could it be a bad reaction to the drug? Or could it simply be coincidental? (I had an ear infection recently. I was also a little dehydrated.) I'm using Prostaglandin E-1 20 mcg/ml. I'd like to increase the dosage a little (started with 4.5 units), but am concerned over both the fact that it didn't go down completely and that I nearly fainted. Thoughts?
thanks.

Re: First x injection questions
Just,
Hey your fainting spell reminds me of the joke about the guy, the Genie and the wishes. First he wished for the biggest cock in the world .. then to have the most beautiful woman in the world -- naked. He got an erection -- and fainted dead away....
(The joke being alllll that blood drained away into the shaft ... heh )
So maybe that's your problem too? Too Big? And low blood pressure results?
But it sounds more like your dehydration theory is probably it -- along with some lowering of blood pressure from the shot .. quickly rising from bed .. being worried and then peeing! All together might do what it did.
Also you have found out one effect of going to sleep with a injection erection -- they tend to last a long time. Partly I guess because you are asleep and laying horizontal (and maybe your wife is holding it for you). Partially because REM Sleep times are when you would have normally gotten nocturnal erections -- and sometimes some of that can still happen even if you have ED and add to the injection effect..
Finally, Unless you have a COLD and very aching erection you are probably OK and not in the priapism range.
Keep it up! You are doing fine so far...

Re: First x injection questions
Thanks Jim- all good points.
It wasn't cold, but it did ache a little. I also have Peyrone's, so I had just assumed it was becuase it was firmer than I was used to and the PD wasn't too happy about it. Why would it be cold if it was in the priaprism range?

Cold means it is so hard that your cavernosa have completely blocked off blood flowing out and also blood then can't come in of course) ...
Mine is VERY warm all the time after injecting so I know it is getting lots of new blood all the time.
Earlier on I had similar issue as you I think. An hour or two after the shot is was STILL very hard and even achey and annoying -- and I would worry if it wasn't going to go down. But it always did.
