On My Way To Bionic

Postby ShopMan » Wed Nov 05, 2014 5:43 pm

Got a call from my uro this morning with the good news. I am scheduled for my implant Dec. 16. I am excited and a little apprehensive.
Right now it just seems so far away. My last attempt with Tri-mix was a weak erection with almost 40 units.
So now I wait. I do need to schedule a pre-op physical with my family Doc.
I have been waiting a long time for this.

Congratulations!!!

My surgery is on the 2nd. Nice to see another December brother! Hopefully everything goes great for both of us!

Feeling you on the waiting game. Just want it done and to be all healed up, but this is all part of the process. Funny thing is that on the day of I'm sure I'll say the time went by in the blink of an eye.

Good luck with the pre-op. I've got to do that and the whole EKG thing. Are you stretching now, or using any pumps to maximize or keep length? Just curious :)

Guess that makes us brothers of the month. lol Actually, I am not doing any stretching programs. Are you?
For me the waiting game will be the worst part. Because I have a relatively high pain threshold I am not real worried about the after pain if any.

Brothers of the month, I like that ;)

I am stretching with a vacuum device twice a day and most of the day with a Phallosan Forte. Don't know if it will help...but it can't hurt at this point over such a short time. Heck, I'm actually looking forward to the surgery so I can ditch the nuisance ;)

I can ignore pain pretty easily, especially when the result will be good, I'm just impatient, lol! I'm sure the time will go fast for both of us once we are there, but for now it is dragging. Just want to move on with life and get past this. I'd do the surgery tomorrow if it was available.

They going to keep you overnight? I am, and will be discharged in the morning once I pee after the catheter is removed. Infra public approach, so hoping for slightly less pain and faster healing...but who knows, lol!

Just curious, was the stretching your URO's idea or yours? My Dr. didn't think it made much difference. I know this is a controversial idea.
But as you said, it probably won't hurt and may even help. Right now I don't have a vacume device. Where did you get yours?

I'm anxious to get this over too. I too would do it tomorrow if my Dr. called and said he had a cancellation and could do it tomorrow. lol

I started it on my own, and Dr. Karpman said to continue to do it. He seemed to think it could only help, and couldn't hurt. Twice a day on the vacuum and about 10 hours a day with the Phallosan(which is a pain in the butt!!!).

I got the vacuum on amazon, just got a "relatively" inexpensive one that was rated well, it works just fine. I was using it as a VED. But the idea is the same, just something to maintain blood flow to the penis a few times a day and prevent atrophy.

"Deluxe Battery and Manual Vacuum Erection Device by Encore"

And at least we are both one day closer now!!!
