I am now 4 months post op, and can only say this is the most life changing and blessed thing, and I really encourage you and your wonderful wife to move forward, so you can experience the new life. I cannot adequately explain how this has so changed the lives of both myself and my wife. We look back at the ED nightmare, and pray that we never have to enduer even 1 day of it again. I was activated 4 weeks post op, and our first sexual event was like Heaven opening its doors. We will all be praying and hoping for the very best outcome for you and your wife, so that you both may experience what all the brothers here have.
Goof Luck and God Bless,
Charlie
You guys with the life changing results are indeed fortunate. Our first sexual event after I healed was a total failure - due to ED we had been asexual for years before the implant, and my wife had lost interest following menopause. My libido had also dropped to zero following a stroke. On our first (and only, as it turned out) attempt my wife begged me to stop after a few seconds (not because of discomfort, but because she just didn't want to be doing it), and that was the end of it. If I had gotten the implant several years earlier when I first needed it, it probably would have saved our sex life. We have discussed counseling, but my wife is adamantly opposed and I never feel well enough to be interested either. I always advise guys who need an implant to get it sooner rather than later - you never know what the future is going to bring.
