I am writing because I have a doubt about the diameter of penile implants . I have seen that most of penile implants have a diameter in the range of 1mm to 18mm , but the average diameter of an erect penis is 4cm to 5cm . If the diameters of the two cylinders of the prosthesis join would obtain a maximum diameter of 3.6cm ( 1.8 + 1.8 ) . The only explanation I see is that penile implants are separated into the penis a distance , or else a sharp decrease in the diameter of the penis once implanted prosthesis .

For that you have implanted a prosthesis Have you noticed any sudden change in diameter or thickness of your penis? How this diameter difference be explained?

Another question I have is about penile rigidity . In the case of implants with three components pumps , you noticed a reduction in rigidity with respect to the erection were you when you had no ED? You can bend the penis when the cylinders are filled with fluid ?

Hello, welcome to the forum. Regarding your questions. I have an AMS 700 LGX and my diameter is over five centimeters. When inflated it is much harder than any natural erection I ever had, including my youth.

I agree with both Dave and Yank. I am 14 days post op and I have a Titan. I have yet to have the doc pump it up but I have pumped it up maybe 25-30 % and it is like a rock. Way harder than normal. It is no where near fully inflated. I can't seem to find the deflate button as of yet. Very sore still down there. I notice though the circumference is oval and not round and the tubes move.
