BI-MIX to TRI-MIX

Hello all--
New poster, long time lurker-----
my question is I have been using the Bi-Mix with pretty good results, about and #8 to 8.5 on scale of 10--
my formula is (Papaverine/Phentolamine 30mg/ 1mg/ml) using 25 units---

I would like to step up to the Tri-mix, and can get any dosage I want within reason---am thinking of this
(Papaverine/Phentolamine/ Alprostadil 30mg/1mg/5mcg/ml)
just adding a small amount of Alprostadil to get to a 9 or possibly a 10 without pain, and lower dosage amounts--
any thoughts and comments are appreciated.
There are so many formulas out there, many of them back off the (Papaverine/Phentolamine) when they add the (Alprostadil)??

I'm a 71 yr old, that suffers from ED--I have had no surgeries.
pills have not worked for 4+ years
have been on Bi-mix for about 7mo.

45mcg/27/1mg
I'm using 20units

I'd like to get a stronger dosage, but don't know if my pharmacy has it yet.

I was hoping that some of (you) Bi-Mix users that had stepped-up to Tri-mix--and had added the Alprostadil--to make it Tri-mix had used just a (small) amount like 2.5 or 5mcg---had any/some success--
looking for 9.5 to 10 without pain!!

When I started Trimix three years ago my Trimix contained .5 mcg/ml of PGE1 and provided a 95% erection which worked well over the next two plus years with a 15 unit injection. I then had to slowly increase the dose to 50 units to have an 85% erection. Six months ago my Uro increased the PGE1 to 1mcg and I am now able to achieve a 95% erection with 45 units.

I would like to know what your entire script is like--ie--
Papaverine/Phentolamine/ Alprostadil 30mg/1mg/1mcg/ml

I'm trying to add just a little bit of the (PGE1/Alprostadil) to my Bi-Mix--that is Papaverine/Phentolamine/ 30mg/1mg

(.5) of PGE1 sounds like a real small amount--trying to decide on a number below 5mcg, ( trying to forgo the pain!!) as I am having 8.5 to 9 erections on the bi-mix--but not REAL strong, and for just 30-40 minutes

My prescription reads:

PAPA ... 0.294 GM
PHEN .. 0.0098 GM
PGE1 ... 1.0E-4 POW

Which I interpret as:

PAPA - 29.4 mg
PHEN - 0.98 mg
PGE1 - 1 mcg (I guess I need help with this conversion as it may represent 10 mcg)

Your proposed 5mcg/30mg/1mg sounds fine to me. Adding too much PGE-1 will raise the ache level, so your idea of a modest Trimix will avoid that and it migt e all you need.

And no one here does 40+mcg except me and Tomas... usually not needed that high (and besides we're both nutz!!) ....

question: If I want to add LESS than 5mcg of the PGE-1--say 1/2 of that amount--how is that written???? 2.5mcg ???

I think we have seen one prescription come thru at only 2.5mcg/ml PGE1...

But it didn't do squat for the owner. You will be fine with 5 and from the results it might tell you if you can do more the next time.

Here's my script history, if I am interpreting the labels correctly:

Initial dosage: Papaverine 6.25mg/Phentolamine/.125/Prostaglandin 1.25 -- very very weak.

Current dosage: Papaverine 10mg/Phentolamine 0.5mg/Prostaglandin 10mcg/ml -- bit stronger, but still weak.

My first prescription never really worked at all because it was so weak, although I was taking 100 units before giving up and complaining to the doc.

The second, and current prescription works great, but only at 90-100 units. At that level I am having the best erections in decades, and there is zero pain. The tradeoff is that at 100 units a pop I am spending a small fortune -- about $22 an injection. That's still cheaper than the pills, and incredibly more effective with regard to erection quality, endurance, and not having to worry about effects from food or alcohol.

I am going to push my uro to keep increasing the strength of the prescription so I can get the injections down to at least 50 units.

Here are some other sample formulas I have seen online:
