I was coming off of anesthesia when my doctor told me what he pumped it up to, but I don't think (hoping, praying) it wasn't 60%. I think he said 30%. It basically looks like what it used to look like soft, but sticking straight out.
I was actually pumped to 90% for the first day. I chose Dr. Karpman because of his stance on early activation.

That is an article that shows the importance of early activation on keeping length. In fact, those activated early all grew about half a centimeter in length. My doctor also does a modified infrapubic approach allowing for early activations since nothing was cut on the scrotum. I can't even feel my incisions. Th drain actually is way more sore. Honestly can't feel the main incision at all!
Early activation gets a bad rap. Study shows when used with the infrapubic approach, there is no increase in failure of the main tubes. The reason they don't like people activating early is so the reservoir will heal at full, so no encapsulation will happen. Thing is, I'd rather the encapsulation happen there than in my penis. Early activation prevents that coffin effect and allows the implant to reach its full potential. Plus, it's a lot easier to move a reservoir to the other side than put inches back on.
This is mainly due to an easier ability to cycle. There is simply not as much pain in the penis because limited encapsulation has occurred. That's why they always tell people to push through the pain while cycling.
Plus, I can have sex at three weeks!! Just waiting for Christas Eve!!!!!
