Weeks ago I screwed up while injecting and caused a hematoma. I stayed away from injecting for a week or so, and since then I've just been injecting on the other side.
My penis now has a definite curve to it. I don't know if there's a treatment for that, or if it's something that will go away. I don't think my urologist is good enough to do anything with it, if that's what is required.
Any helpful suggestions?

I've injected on the bruised side, but moved away from the bruise a bit. Maybe injecting on the same side caused the bend?

Re: Penis curved. Now what?
I noticed a curve right after I'd caused the hematoma on the right side. It stayed curved. I waited a couple of weeks, then tried injecting on the opposite (left) side. It still curved to the right. I waited a week again, injected on the left, and it still curved to the left. It doesn't seem to be going away.

I hope you get it straightened out. I wonder if the uro would suggest injecting only on one side to counteract the bend? I don't know which side would be best, but I think I've heard of doing that. Good luck.

Re: Penis curved. Now what?
One hematoma shouldn't cause a permanent curve that quickly. As far as I know, scar tissue usually takes a while to build up enough to cause a curve. Perhaps the hematoma caused some bruised tissue and swelling which takes a few weeks to to heal. Give it some more time to heal or consult an urologist to determine if it is temporary or permanent.
However, if it is permanent, I have read that some penis extenders (X4Labs for example) have models that are designed to reduce or eliminate the curvature.

Re: Penis curved. Now what?
It's been several weeks. I can't remember exactly how long, but certainly over a month.
Does the penis bend away from the scar tissue or hematoma, or toward it? I'm trying to figure out which side I should be doing injections on. I don't want to inject into the problem area. I can't find an answer to that question in anything in searches.

Don......
I noticed a slight curve to the LEFT.... nothing very far that way, but i did mention it to my uro the next visit. He did not seem concerned, but suggested that I mostly inject on the RIGHT side. I followed his suggestion, and the curve straightened out. As a matter of fact, I inject on the Right side nearly every time now .... and everything seems fine.

Re: Penis curved. Now what?
I would go to get it checked out by a good Uro.....someone knowledgeable in Peyronnes disease. I don't want to scare you but on the Peyronnes Forum there are several stories of guys who woke up one day to a noticable bend out of the blue....scar tissue could have been there all along but the hematoma "broke the camel's back" so to speak and caused the bend...Get it checked...because if it is the beginning of Peyronnes the quicker you get treatment the better,,,,take it from one who knows....Usually the Peyronnes specialist will prescribe Pentox twice or three times a day along with supplements such as Vitamin E, L-Arginine, CO-Q10, etc.....that along with light daily pumping at 15min per session.....You'll feel better getting it checked. I'm no doctor but I had a similar experience...Be Well
