Get a grip!

Postby dg_moore » Fri Dec 26, 2014 10:04 am

There have been several recent effusive threads here, each surpassing the next, on the topic of how, thanks to an implant, the clouds will part, the angels will sing, goodness will flow, and happiness will reign forever.

We're talking about life here, and while an implant may fix ED, it won't fix anything else. The kids will still fight, the dog will still pee on the rug, the spouse will still get mad, the boss will still tick you off, the neighbors will still be annoying, and the bills will still come due.

Life is what happens while you're making other plans: counting on an implant fixing what's wrong in your life may lead to disappointment. I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't get an implant if you need one - far from it. But it's not a magic wand - don't make it the center of your existence.

I have honestly never seen a thread in here that went well that said that anything other than sex life and confidence in that area improved.

I for one had an incredible result. He lost no size, gained girth, and the sex with my wife has been fantastic. I have had my ED cured, that is all I have ever claimed, and all the results that have followed.

Are there risks associated with surgery, absolutely! Picking a great surgeon is paramount, but problems can still occur. That said. The ED would have still been there for me. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain relatively speaking.

I personally have seen a lot of negativity here recently. And I can point to specific threads where others have said people are lying.

Hmmm, I am on here quite a lot and I have never read a post that suggests an implant can fix everything wrong in one's life. What I have read and I can attest to is a successful implant, while an ordeal with some pain and a learning curve, can flat out overcome severe and irreversible ED so dramatically that it literally can reverse the numerous mental, emotional, and physical issues that confront some males. It can be a life changing event in my opinion, for some men. It was for me.
I think the vast majority of men who post on this forum are honest, unpretentious, and grounded with respect to the myriad of issues concerning implants.

I agree completely. As you may have noted in my signature block, I am implanted myself. My original post refers to a specific group of recent threads, which to me border on fantasy. It was not my intention to be provocative but rather to express an opinion. The implant is certainly a viable option for those who need one and I always advise men who need an implant to get it sooner than later.
