Re: cost of procedure
Does anyone know if Medicare pays?
Re: cost of procedure
Medicare does pay for implants, but like all insurance the doctor's submission must be coded correctly
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

Also, I believe Medicare pays for the vacuum pump first, then will pay for an implant after the patient has verified that the pump has not been successful.

If you are a veteran with your medical history the Va would do it. Don't know the cost. I had BC/BS insurance they paid most of mine. I paid about $2000. I didn't know that I was eligible for Va. until after
I went through the insurance. I think the Va would be way cheaper. Also don't know about their doctors.

If you're looking for US insurance, you have to reside in the US and be a US citizen or legal immigrant.
