After 11 years, my implAnt is leaking and am told removal of the old and a new implant is done. Can't see doc did mid February. Can anybody give me a run down on the revision. Pain, bruising, down time etc, thanks

Less pain than virgin implant. Go get an excellent surgeon, that's highly important! Distance should not matter.
Infection risk is a bit higher on revisions. But that depends on your personal disposition.
Was your implant an AMS? 11 years is not that much. Where is it leaking? At the cylinders?
Has your first implant been inserted by the penoscrotal approach? Consider having operate the revision by a different approach, that gives additional ease of work.

11 years seems like a decent lifespan. How often did you use it?
