Cylinder length

Postby terry136 » Mon Dec 29, 2014 9:23 am

For those guys that think cylinder length correlates to penis length, WRONG. Do the math 2.54cm = 1". Therefore a 22cm cylinder would be 8.66 inches, and a 24cm cylinder would be 9.45". Add the length of the RTEs and it becomes even more unrealistic. Cylinder length isn't important to anyone since it correlates to absolutely nothing. It's not even good for bragging rights.

I'm not sure where you are getting this information. Approximately 1/3rd of the implant is contained inside your body and the posterior of the implant rests against your pubic bone essentially. If you take a look at any pictures on the internet they do show the implant going inside and towards the pubic bone as well.

In addition, the implants typically only extend part way into the head, so there is some additional length there as well.

Cylinder length when factoring in the head, and 1/3rd corresponds to length, that is why they measure at the time of surgery, or should anyway.

Ask anyone with an improperly sized cylinder if the length of it does not matter. You can get erosion(though uncommon with the three piece), buckling, or floppy head.

The math has to be done correctly, and surgical techniques must be factored in which also allow for some variation of anatomy, but if you go through the threads and get the measurements of people here that have had the procedure, with their final lengths, it corresponds pretty well, as it does in the literature as well.
