Yesterday was D-Day. Dr. Garber activated me after 7 weeks of post op healing. To this point my recovery has gone extremely well, I went from the first few days being miserable - to achy when I would walk for more than 15 min - to no aches at all after 4 weeks. I can tell the implant is there, it hasn't 'become one with my body' as yet - but it is becoming far less noticeable as something foreign to me.
Now - when he activated me my erection became uncomfortable, not exactly awful pain - but sore. Almost reminded me of when I was in my 20's and you'd get a boner that was just too hard and it hurt a little.
So my questions to the members of the bionic club here are - any recommendations as to how to proceed with 'getting used' to the soreness? How long and often should I activate? When will the soreness go away?
As an aside - I was EXTREMELY pleased with my results. I did not lose any length - I actually seem to be a bit longer and for sure I have a bit more girth as well. With the TITAN though, I've noticed it seems unnaturally hard. My glans was also a bit flaccid, but I'm assuming it's because there was no arousal. Prior to this my glans has seemed to fill nicely. Anyone experience difficulty with their glans after pumping up?
And just my luck... after a few months with no 'normal' sex with my lady, she's going through her cycle. But what's a few more days huh? I'm hoping this weekend will be a great one.
As always, thanks for all of your advice!!!!

Your body is still getting used to the implant, and it just takes a little time to acclimate. You should probably inflate a couple of times a day for 30 minutes or so, or less if it becomes uncomfortable. In time, you will no longer really notice that it's there.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

Take a sock and fill it with dry rice or beans. Warm it in the microwave. Put a towel on the area, and the sock around it. The warmth will help with pain while pumped. Also, play with yourself a bit while pumped. Really helps as well.

The sock is a good idea. I filled two socks with uncooked rice, tied them at the top so it doesn't leak out. I put the warm socks around my penis for 10 minutes before I pumped-up.
Make sure the socks don't have any holes in them. Just kidding.
I pumped-up once a day as hard as I could without much pain then let it there for 15 mins. After a few weeks I let it there for 30 mins. then 1 hour. My advice is don't push it too hard. You penis is still healing & it takes time.
As far as the glans being soft. It's probably due to lack of arousal. Try getting aroused & see if that solves the problem. I have heard of some guys using Viagra or Cialis to increase circulation to the glans but hopefully that won't be necessary.
Hang in there.
