Wow, where do people get these ideas?

Read the discussions boards here and you'll get all of your answers.

+1. Like LGX said, where do people get these nutty ideas?

Harley wrote:Anyone know the difference? Rumor has it Coloplast is designed for the larger guys 6.5" or more) and that they are in the pockets of the doctors ($$$$$$$$). The high volume docs, in other words, are on their payroll.

Does anyone here know the true difference?

I wouldn't act like this is ludicrous since money is everywhere, heck what you say might even be true...

HOWEVER.

Docs like Eid, Kramer etc. are considered the best in the world, and as you can see from these forums, they are pretty much working on word of mouth marketing. Do you really think (considering a doc looks at his practice purely as business) that these guys would take some short term $$$ instead of long term growth , fame for the success of their work and long term $$$?
And that is considering that they are businessmen, being the son of two surgeons myself, money is important of course, but it doesn't take priority over the case itself nor the humanitarian aspect of the medical field. If these guys didn't care for their patients and worked for their patients lives to be a success as much as they did, you wouldn't hear about them.

From all the research I've done online and talking with ppl, here's what I believe. Coloplast is harder. That's why some recommend it for larger size penis. AMS is more natural looking and feeling while flaccid. Personally, I'm glad both are available. Competition is good. I have an AMS 700 lgx and I'm happy. I'm also in my 30's and will need revisions later down the road. When the time comes, I'll put my faith in my surgeon and have him choose whichever he feels is best.

I've had them both and the semi ridgid, they are both great. Trust the surgeon and let him examine your anatomy. If he's experienced, he will let you know which one to get. Take Care.
