Figured I'd introduce myself. I'm 29, I've had some ED in the past for which I have been taking Viagra. A little over three weeks ago I had an injury to my penis.
With the aid of Viagra I was able to have a hard erection, the best I've had in over a year, and just my luck I had a lot of force come down on the outside causing a slight bending of my erection; this caused a intense sharp pain and quick loss of erection. The next day I went to urgent care. I didn't have the typical gross deformity and eggplant swelling you see with penile fractures, but I had two semi-circumferential bumps on the shaft that are not veins and very slight bruising in that area. I have seen a handful of urologists since the injury and they have told me it's likely I damaged my tunica albuginea, but nothing can be done about it besides hoping it heals itself. I requested a ultrasound to rule out any further damage but every urologist said there is no use and apparently there is no protocol for even doing one if there isn't gross deformity of the penis and it's been over 48 hours since the injury. I actually had a female PA (just about the only doctor to take me seriously) order an urgent penile ultrasound but no radiology center had a procedure code to carry out with the request. They flat out told me they don't do any imaging scans on the penis.
A few urologists seemed to be hopeful saying I should make a complete recovery, one told me the tunica albuginea really never heals itself well and it's "just like a hurt ankle, it hurts to walk but there's nothing you can do about it".
I've read prompt treatment is imperative for this type of injury, but everywhere I went had a nonchalant 'wait and see' attitude. I realize my case is less severe than your typical penile fracture, but it still has me worried.
Thanks.

Hey Bro.
No one has answered you and we are glad to see you on these forums. We regret and are deeply symphatetic for the circumstances that have brought you here. I tried to put myself in your shoes. Had this happened to me at your age and newly married to boot when I was your age, I would have been devastated.
So bro, hang around. Keep posting. We hope that you find comfort and solutions here. When guys get honest enough with one another to try to help one another with such highly personal problems, a brotherhood of comfort and emotional healing occurs.
Godspeed to you in your journey and finding a solution.

Thanks, I remain hopeful. I can still get hard erections so that's a good sign, no real deformity during the erection. Some trouble maintaining erections but that existed before the injury. The bumps on the muscle haven't gone away but they haven't gotten any worse either.
