I'm with Greg, I thought that was normal! You have all sorts of pretty colors now! The glans will be very sensitive to the slightest amount of pressure for a while. I wore the Franklin compression briefs to try to secure my buddy in the upright position. (For those not yet bionic, keeping it up against the abdomen is recommended for the first 3 to 4 weeks to help everything heal straight.) Just the pressure of the spandex was painful, especially when sitting. I rolled a paper towel about 5 inches long and 3/4 to an inch in diameter and put it in the pouch of the Franklins. Junior wanted to wander to the left, so putting the roll on the left kept him straight up and the roll took pressure off the glans. Oh, that felt so good!
As far as being inflated, I sorta panicked the first night, but you will find that even deflated, he's pretty hard!

Home 1 week...
...and all seems to be going well. The swelling has decreased a little although
not symmetrically. The left side seems more swollen, but the doc said the
resevoir would probably go into the left side so that explains that. It still is
uncomfortable, but I would describe it more as a tenderness than real pain. Even
most of the colors have disappeared. I have noticed that it persistently aims
just a little to the left. Never did that before but I am not worried. It also
seems to have a twist in it along its axis. It feels more pronounced than the
attached pix show the reality to be. Again, I am not worried - even if it is
permanent, its not a problem really - and I suspect it probably will go away on
its own anyway. I am pleasantly surprised at how high the little guy is pointing
- sometimes I swear it is higher than horizontal. Makes me remember erections
when I was 18 when they touched my bellybutton. Life is good - no regrets at
all so far. Looking forward to a long summer filled with hot sex!

Time flies! It has been 2 months since my implant and I would like to post some happy news - it works! Several weeks ago - at 5 1/2 weeks post op - I had an appt for my trial run, however at that time I had just gotten over some persistent swelling. I was so relieved that the swelling had finally subsided that I was reluctant to start gnashing around in there and my doc agreed to wait a bit more before inflating. However, along the way I started to get curious and started pumping it up a little on my own. Finally today I inflated with my doc's blessings, and it all works well! It is not exactly huge - I am starting off with about 4 1/2" length (and girth) which might sound depressing to some young healthy 7" guys.... but I know I will gain some - hopefull an inch over the next year.... and man is it hard! I am a happy camper. As many guys already led me to believe - the flacid size and appearance is great - it finally aims down, and has a normal healthy fullness - much like I have had all my life. After prostate cancer surgery, it was dismaying to watch it all but disappear. So far I have not 'used' it other than for a few solo flights... but I know that as I get more comfortable with it, the sexual side of life is sure to return. For decades I have cringed whenever I hear people longing to return to the 'good ole days' NOT ME! This is one more reason why life has never been as good as it is now. Diagnosing and treating prostate cancer has never been better - and would you really want to live before implants were an option? This whole experience has not always been easy - but I have no regrets so far. Don't hesitate to ask me questions if I can be of help. I am eager to repay the kindness that others have shown me getting through this.

Congratulations Glenn - it all looks great and well healed. Thanks as well for sharing your story - everyone's openness helps everyone else. I hope to travel down your same path one day and hearing and seeing your results confirms my commitment to 'gittin' er done'!
