Hello Everyone
I am a 69 y.o. who had a penile implant procedure done 9 years ago. I want to say that this device saved my life, since I was so depressed for two years without getting a single erection. While I used the external vacuum pump, my wife and I decided it was so unspontaneous that we decided it was not really working for us. I spent another year without any information or any idea of what to do next. Then I got invited to a talk on Male Sexuality covering incontinence and erectile dysfunction. After the talk it took about one day to set up an appointment with the prosthetic physician to discuss the surgery and the day after my 60th birthday I had the operation.
I want to say that for 9 years now I have had no problems with the device or the functioning of the device.
My wife and I are advocated for the company that manufacturers the implant, and if you are thinking about the possibility of having the surgery I would be happy to share my experience with you.
