A thought. Put the Aneros before you shower and leave it in while you shower with all it's activity. The natural movement will be a new approach and with all the activity of showering you will not focus on it and "it" may like that. After showering all of the movement and change of drying off may facilitate your journey. I may need to try that myself at some point sounds interesting. . . Consider the wine a relaxant for your mind. A glass will not dull those nerves, but decline the inclination to take the whole bottle and a straw into the bath. . . .

I love your sense of humor. I'll have to try that next time I have some quality alone time. BTW, I bought some injectors for the lube as I wanted to get as much inside as possible and when you lube the aneros, much of it comes off as it's entering the anus, I would think. I just got them so haven't used them yet. seems reasonable that they would work. I must remember...no bottle and straw. No bottle and straw...no bottle.

I used my Aneros last night for the first time. I'm like you, Steve, in that we've got lots to learn; for me, it's going to be patience!!

I like the feeling of having something up my ass, but was a little disappointed that there wasn't a whole lot of feeling. I fell asleep and when I awoke a little later, I began the contractions and tryed different movements in an attempt to stimulate certain various areas . . . I tried laying in different positions as well. I actually found that lying on my stomach and made movements like I was having sex was interesting; besides, I got tired from doing kegel type movements . . . again, fell asleep and each time I awoke the first thing I noticed was the Aneros . . . at some point, felt kind of crampy, but even this felt kind of good . . . started around 11:00 and around 4:30 I took it out. I purposely did not masturbate as several other guys here said that you don't want to lose that anal type feeling.

I'm going to follow Dick's suggestion and put it in while I shower this morning . . . I had seen in another forum where a guy put it in and performed his normal activites and found it helpful.

I suppose it's too early to open the wine (it's 10:00 am)!

Okay . . . inserted Aneros standing up . . . easy!

Okay . . . showered with it . . . not much, besides, it's hard to clean your ass when it's in the way!

Now . . . put it in and have been doing routine chores . . . LOVE the feeling; you certainly know it's there. Maybe when I least expect it, something good might happen??

I saw my surgeon yesterday and he has prescribed a pump for me. As I am only 5 months post op I will try that first before having a go with the aneros.

However, I am pleased to see that I have stimulated some interesting debate. Keep it coming fellas.

Notsostiff ~ Pump that thing like there's no tomorrow! Keep in mind that the pump and the aneros serve two different functions. The aneros, if I understand it correctly, will only give you an anal orgasm. It's totally separate from the penile, however, with the aneros in place, you can get a great penile orgasm when you masturbate. I'm still waiting for the anal orgasm to occur...

Pumping keeps your penis expanded and helps keep atrophy from setting in. I originally started with the pump about 3 months after surgery and did it for about a year. You will get some big woodies with that...mine were harder than I'd ever had before, but they'll be cold. But they certainly will do the job, but you can only leave the ring on for 30 minutes. I use injections and can stay erect for 2-3 hours no problem. Even after you orgasm, you remain hard. A lesser dose, a shorter erection time. A bigger dose, longer. But it takes practice to get the dosing right.

Enjoy the pump experience. I kinda miss it, but the injections are my best option. You might try them yourself one of these days. Recommend Trimix.

The pump I have chosen is the Rapport Premier http://www.owenmumford.com/en/range/17/rapport-premier.html. It is a natural action pump. Has anyone else used this one? It arrives tomorrow and so I am looking forward to my first decent woody in 5 months if it works. The instructions say that it works without the cialis but my surgeon says to use both as they are complementary. I will let you know how I get on.

Good luck. When I pumped the first time I could not believe it . . . it had been 13 years for me. In fact, when I first started to use the pump, it was possible for me to orgasm just by sitting there smiling at it!

I wonder why the doc wants you to take oral meds at the same time. They may be complementary, but why? You're gonna' get a nice lookin' woody . . . probably more girth than you had prior to your surgery. If you ask him the reason, please share it. I guess I wouldn't take medicine if it wasn't necessary.

Well the pump worked at treat. I couldn't believe how big an erection I managed. However, it didn't last very long.

I'm assuming you didn't put a ring on, then? and, you're simply using the pump for therapy?

BTW, if I have a complaint with the pump, getting the ring off would be it.

I've been pretty conscientious working with the pump and jelqing, notsostiff, and I really think I'm seeing results. I end up with a chub after jelqing and in the past that would not have happened. Keep it up!
