my girth is big too. I'm 16.5 cm ( 6.48 inch) at middle of the penis. But at base the girth is only 14 ( 5.5 ).. And this is bad for erection stability. Infact this is the primary reason of my erectile dinsfunciton ( venous leackage)... i 'm considering for impant..

unfortunately my penis is also very long. I would rather have smaller penis but working well..

Bill:

You asked again if anyone has any input on the size regain claims. Please go back and read my previous response, I gave you a very specific response.

With your revised 5.5 inch girth, you are almost exactly the same size as I was before surgery. I have the LGX, I'm nearly back to my previous size 8 weeks post surgery, and I have every expectation that it will continue to increase in size and at least give me the same length and undoubtedly more girth than previously.

One consideration that you haven't addressed is how small will it get. Believe it or not, the increased flaccid size will cause you to have to revise your stowage procedure. It just don't fit in my pants like it used to. And, it is longer, thicker, and firmer that it was previouisly, so the bulge is alive and well. If I had the Titan, it would be worse as the LGX does get smaller and shorter when deflated.

Since you have revised your size down from Coke can size, I would go with the LGX. I am the same size as you and that is what I did.

Went to see the Uro today, we talked about both units and he thought that they were pretty much the same except for the LGX which he said had a better pump unit. That made up my mind. I asked him to make me his poster child for implanys and we both had a little chuckle. Waiting for his nurse to call me for the big I day. As far as recovery he said to take it easy for a solid week and don't do anything. Said after that should be able to go back to work (lighduty so to speak). Getting excited.

Well, that's good news. I think we all (or almost all) like our implants, Titans or LGX. I guess if we could try each one for a while then there could be some good comparisions but I am not going to volunteer for that. I hope you can get scheduled up and get this thing over with soon.

Go in for pre-op tests this am and have surgery scheduled for 5/25 in Sarasota. No pun intended but I am really up for this hopefully pleasant change in my life. even if it's for my own self-esteem. Am going with the AMS700LGX, hope I made the right choice. Seems that most everyone here that has had an implant are very happy. Can't wait.

You will not be disappointed with your decision. Advantages of the possibility of increased length and the smaller, more flexible flaccid state are biggies in my mind.

You hit on a key point when you said doing it for your own self esteem. I am surprised at my own change of mental outlook since surgery. I didn't realize that my inability to sustain a good erection played on my own image of myself as much as it did. Now with the bionic boner, my self image has turned from sexually wimpy to stud. I now know I can perform every time. What an invigorating level of confidence that gives you. I'd do this again if I was single and all I did was wank, it's worth it looking at that bad boy standing up like a bronze statue!

Best wishes on you upcoming journey. Feel free to private message me with any question you don't feel like putting in the open, though this site is unbelievably accepting.

Okay, here we go. Going to Sarasota Memorial on Wed. 5/25 to have an AMS 700 LGX installed. I am very anxious and excited, almost like a little kid at Christmas time. Checking in at 8am. Dr. wants to keep me one night just in case.....I am very positive and have faith in my Dr. Wish me luck and I'll post when I can sit down at the computer and talk.

Hi All,
Well went a head and had it done on 5/25/2001 at 12:30PM., AMS LGX 700. Came out of surgery and my Dr. said that I did good and should be VERY happy with the projected outcome. He said that there is only room for improvement. Today, Monday is day 5 after surgery stll in some pain but can make it throguh the pain w/o drugs. He started me with a little inflation just to keep the ock head out in the open. Balls are ok but the right side where the pump hangs out is a littel sore. Nothing unexpected though. The night before the surgery my wife told me she had an isue with the implant, I explained to her (finally had the balls to confront her) how it works and that It was me that wanted to get it done and that after it is all over and done with she can take it for a test drive whebever she feels like it and that there will not be a pushy me behind it. She semed to be okay with this and hopefully the ice is broken after many years of nothing between us just unadulterated love. Kind of surpirsed, but she was in full support of the operation. I guess for the nosey folks, relatived, the best explanation is going to be hernia repair. Seems to work out okay. It's a little difficult sittin but use a couiple of pillows and tighty whiteys, see the DR. Friday and will ask about a jock strap. I think the discomfort in sitting is where the implants go from penis in to body cavity. If I can lilit that pressure then it is effortless. Almost tempted to try a littly inflation, but am going to wait. Would I do it again, let you know after 3-6 weeks of recovery and how it works. If i Had a camera I would post photos if that is okay. Just an FYI my scrotum looks like it was infused with an extra large grapfruit and if I don't use one of the ADA high lift toilets my scrotum is in the water. Hope the swelling goes down. Be happy to answer any direct questions from nayone at anytime.
:D
Bill
