Hi, I am new here. I have been following this thread, and was thinking myself about whether or not sclerotherapy is legit. What I can tell you is that I have emailed them several times, and they seem to always be very vague in their responses. For example I ask them what is the success rate? They say 75-90%. I find that strange, because if it was that successful, then why is this procedure not more popular then it is. I asked them is it a complete long term cure? They say yes, and that patient satisfaction is very high and no longer require medication/viagra etc. I ask them how many people had this procedure? They never seem to answer this. How many people were completely cured? Again will not give a definitive answer. 308 satisfied patients, was their reply. But what does that even mean? I asked them how many were partially cured/ improved? They still don't reply. How many were not cured? They don't reply. It seems that they don't want to answer these questions, and are very unprofessional in my opinion. I asked them how many got worse? They said not a single case. But I know that Gollam did. So this is very frustrating to say the least, as I feel like I am in the dark as to what the real truth is. I cannot rule anything out, but currently I am skeptical.
I don't really know what to believe. Should I take their word, that the success rate is very high. I really don't know at this stage, as generally they don't really provide much detail on this procedure, other than no need to take pills and 75% patients completely cured. I also asked any long term complications? They say no. Judging by their responses, it seems that it is a positive procedure. But since they seem to avoid a lot of my questions, as well as not be very detailed in their answers I am left feeling extremely skeptical, even when they claim a 75-90% complete cure, success rate.
Merrix, In regards to the glans dying, I am skeptical about that, but I am no doctor, and I hope that is not the case for you. I am skeptical, since they told me that they do follow ups and that there are no long term complications. Again, I don't know whether to believe them or not. For all I know, their claims are too good to be true.

Hello Tarzee,
From a personal perspective I regret having Scerothreapy and agree with Merrix that you need to think carefully before taking the plunge.
If you want to PM me, I'm happy to cover off any questions you may have.

42 years old, Venous leak all my life. Pills worked but not so much then I foolishly did Scerothreapy (See young guys thread). Now totally impotent and just want an implant to stop me from completely crazy.
Re: Dr. Ralf Herwig claims that he cures Venous Leak
Thanks Gollam,
I am sorry to hear about your situation. It saddens me that a procedure that claims to cure, did the opposite in your case, which is unacceptable.
That has implications for everyone, as It makes us think twice about having it. As I said before, I am no doctor, but I have done my research and talked to many people who have opted for an implant. Although it is a scary thought, I believe that this is the only proven cure. Sure there are risks, but these risks are greatly minimised by a good surgeon. And I am assuming you are young like me, and this is no way to live. Best to solve this problem once and for all and get an implant. I am only 27 myself, way too young for all this. I am strongly, let me repeat strongly considering getting implanted, in the near future. I refuse to let ed control my life.
As for the success rate of sclerotherapy, there is no way to tell. The sample size is too small. I am guessing maybe less than 500 people have had this done. And on this forum maybe 5, I am not sure. So far, only Razor and Oxford seem to be cured, but sadly have not heard from them in months. All I can do is hope that they are still cured. Judging from their silence, perhaps they are still cured, as I am sure they would report it if they relapsed, so the rest of us could be warned. Right now I am just babbling on, but I wish everyone here the best, whatever they decide to do.
Gollam, it is not the end of the world. An implant from a very skilled surgeon will solve your problem, I am sure. And my ed too. After all it does seem that patient and partner satisfaction is very high. Hence I better start saving up.

Re: Dr. Ralf Herwig claims that he cures Venous Leak
75-90% totally cured with no need for pills?
That would mean that chances that only 1 in 5 got cured would be ~0.1%. And I don't even think 1 is cured of the 5 here on the forum. Both oxford and razors last reports mentioned still using pills, still having 1/3 failures etc, etc. So none of us 5 is completely cured. What are the odds of taking 5 guys, giving them a treatment with 80% success rate and the all fail?
It is 0.2^5= 0.03% probability.
Do you want to believe in this?
And I don't give a damn for their statistics on success rate.
I did the sclero and I have not been part of any follow up study. They don't know my status. That is to me clear evidence that their succes rates are probably lacking in both validity and reliability.
I still say be very careful...

Re: Dr. Ralf Herwig claims that he cures Venous Leak
Be very careful is an understatement, I would say 'DO NOT DO IT!'
I regret everyday my decision to undertake Scelrothreapy and question why a single clinic offers this procedure.
I was rash and it's cost my dearly. For the likes of Seeking and others they haven't been on this forum for some time concerns me greatly and I worry for them.
How dare they profit from this and why are the guys that have had it take it on the chin? I'm not here to be nice and don't understand why others on this forum appear to take it on the chin?? Your men irrespective of ED so man up, stop feeling sorry for yourselves and take action.
This is a plea to those that have had this procedure like me and have experienced bad results, please man up and take these crooks on.
I'll be clear I made a mistake and although not a porn star I had average sex life. I looked in the wrong place rather than listen to my wife and look at what I had in my family. So to the guys with ED that can have regular'ish sex please stop observing like I did and enjoy life for what it is because your penis shouldn't rule your life (fact).

Gollam, take it easy. Don't provoke people. Don't tell others what to do based on your situation.
I speak for myself, and I haven't taken anything 'on the chin'. I am not here to be nice either. I am here to tell my story and leave it up to everyone reading it to do what they want.
I don't feel sorry for myself and I have taken plenty of actions. Sclerotherapy, and when results were not enough for me I had an implant.
You had bad results from the sclerotherapy, but on this forum, I think you're the only one. I definitely didn't have bad results. I was told by Dr. Kuehhas that 30% will be cured and won't need pills anymore. 50% will get an improvement, as in respond better to pills, and 20% will have no effect.
That's what I took the decision to go ahead on. I said to myself I'll be happy I am among the 50%. And I was. I did get significantly better results from pills and the effect was still there with no decreased effect 4 months after treatment.
So why should I 'man up and take these crooks on'? They did exactly what they said they'd do.
And it seems the other 3 or 4 guys here who did it got similar or slightly better reults than me. So why should they 'man up and take these crooks on'?
You're the only one who say you got worse. That's terrible, but I am not going to fight your war. Sorry.
Good luck.

I'm 39 years old. Never was able to maintain my erections for more than 1 minute. Pills don't work. Had sclerotherapy by Dr. Kuehhas in Austria in 2016. Didn't work. Injections (Caverject) are the only things that gave me acceptable results.
Re: Dr. Ralf Herwig claims that he cures Venous Leak
Hi,
New in this fórum. I also have veins leak. I read all your interesting information and I have some questions for all the people who have had the operation.
If any of you went back after the operation for a check with Doctor, did he gave you any reason why the procedure was not so effective?
Did he offered any of you to go for a second operation to increase this effectiveness?

Re: Dr. Ralf Herwig claims that he cures Venous Leak
I do not know if it was this forum or another platform but someone who was quite upset was offered a second round of scherotherapy ( do not know why it is called therapy because it is vein killing) by Kluehaus (?). I think the surgery was going to be free of charge but other expenses were still going to cost him $3,000. He opted not to as he was very displeased with the initial surgery. d
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Your talk a lot of sense Alibaba and I like your quote regarding it being threapy. It certainly isn't but I've needed threapy since undergoing the procedure last September!
The whole thing is wrong and I'm worse than pre-opp. My wife says it feels the same but I'm not convinced because I struggle to hold an erection standing up more than 5 seconds where before I could at least if turned on hold it for 20 seconds without stimulation.
They have offered me a free of charge implant and to be honest so long as Klulass doesn't come near me I may go for it later this year because of the good feedback around their senior surgeon.
Regards
Gollam
