My ED journey has taken many twists and turns..sometimes I thought I was staring at the abyss only to then rebound and everything would seem ok..For the past 3 months I've had to inject more often and the pills just seem to stop working. So I've read on here how some guys begin to tolerate the Trimix to the point where it no longer works. So I'd like to know sort of taking a pole...who on Frank Talk has been injecting the longest? 3years? 5 years? 10??
I hope you guys chime in....thanks

Re: How long have you been injecting?
Hello! I've been injecting for almost 2 years. I have not experienced any 'drug tolerance', as I still use the same dose that I did in the beginning. I've haven't had to increase the dosage at all.
I haven't had to increase the potency of the trimix either, as I still use trimix #1, which is the weakest strength of the mixture in my area of Arizona.

I've been injecting for about 18 months and have not seen any tolerance build up for me.
Age 67, Ojochal, Costa Rica. ED related to relapsing remitting MS. Increasing doses of Viagra worked for 10 yrs. Been injecting trimix for last 10 yrs with >95% effectiveness. Erection 10/10 for 2 hours.

2 1/2 years here and I have increased my dosage. I might be able to decrease it, but it's working pretty well. I seem to be able to control the erections and ejaculations nicely.

Re: How long have you been injecting?
qc,
I've been using Trimix for about 5 years now.
It is decreasing in effectiveness over the years.
Looking back on some of my posts I mention using 5-10u for 2+ hrs.
These days I am up to 40u of pretty strong Trimix for 2hrs.
One thing helping is using a small velcro strap. Really helps keep things solid and then when I don't need it superhard anymore just off the strap and is back to a really good chub but not annoying.
One thing I think is affecting performance is I have stopped exercising over the last two years.
I think my decreased cardio performance is reflecting in decreased erection quality.
Gotta get back on the treadmill and weightmachine soon and see if it brings back good EQ.

I think you're right on target jimstars with the excercise piece.I think the other thing that helps keep a Trimix dose at a level of effectiveness is daily VED therapy. I have been doing daily 15min pumping for almost 2 years now. I actually went an entire year without injecting just using pills. I have also notice I've been in that endless "performance anxiety" loop...so I go right to the injections so I don't have to worry or think about it. I am single and see a lady having sex maybe only once a week. She is younger than me, so I'm always comparing myself to the way I had sex 10 years ago. Funny, because if me and my partner are just playing around maybe doing oral with each other, the pills are fine...but when I start thinking about intercourse....that's when things go south....

Re: How long have you been injecting?
I have been injecting for more than 18 months. I have had my prescription increased a couple times. However, I am not worried long-term about tolerance or diminished results. If you must strengthen your dosage, then that's the way it goes. I'm still getting firm erections from Trimix 100 percent of the time when I take a full dosage. I am even getting satisfactory performance when I take a half dosage for masturbation.
Work with your urologist if Trimix is losing its effectiveness for you. Chances are the problem can be fixed immediately by changing the script. Other guys use this situation as a reason to talk themselves into moving up to an implant -- the last frontier. I would certainly move up to an implant if Trimix failed for me, but I feel I am far from that.
Good luck to you.

I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Using trimix just over two years. Started at 9-10 units. Saw some slacking off in second year. Experimented to as high as 24 units. Lately added a cock ring. Holding steady now at 12 units.
