Sudafed to counter Trimix?

Postby ChattMan1962 » Sat Mar 26, 2016 4:37 pm

Had my first injection last week. 25 units. Still had an erection after three hours. The physician injected me with something to counteract the tri-mix. I ask him what if this happens when I wasn't in his office. He stated that I should take Sudafed. Does anyone know if this works?

Here's my story; I had to learn the "hard" way (pun not really intended but I couldn't resist it).

When I started injecting three years ago the doc told me the same thing about buying Sudafed. My first injection by the doc's sweet 30-something female assistant didn't work too well, so when I tried it at home I upped the dose somewhat per her instructions.

It was too much, and four hours later the thing ached so much I wanted to chop it off. I had Sudafed on hand but they weren't working. Problem was, they were SLOW-RELEASE. The nurse NEVER SAID ANYTHING about what type to get. But I let them know the next day about their error.

MAKE SURE YOU GET FAST-ACTING. I use the cheaper generic Walmart's brand (active drug is the same as Sudafed) and they work for me. I've used them several times when I just want the damned thing to go down so I can get on with my life.

Chatman: yes, the sudafed is an antidote to trimix. I was told to use an initial dose of 60mg. If still hard a half hour later, take another 60mg. If you are getting to the magical four hours, it's a trip to the ER for an injection of the same ingredient. Once when I was approaching 4 hours, i took a third "hit" of another 60mg with no ill effects. It did knock the woodie down.

Chattman,

This issue comes up every so often.

In the USA at least you cannot buy Pseudoephedrine containing Sudafed over the counter -- out on the shelves. Does not matter what name they put on it - it does not contain Pseudoephedrine.

The OTC brands almost all use Phenylephrine (Sudafed PE) and that is not effective for puttin down priapism. So be sure to ask the Pharmacist you want Pseudoephedrine sudafed and then check the label.
I don't think you have to tell them why you want it - just tell em you prefer it, but they take your personal info down so they can tell if you are a mule for a Methlab or something.

Also, a poor mans way of knocking down a too long/too painful Big E is to generate some adrenaline thru elevated heartrate/cardio and hope that that will counteract your problem. Vigorous workout on a weightmachine or highway driving really fast or anything that jacks up adrenaline might help. This is because adrenaline causes Pseudoephedrine to be secreted into the bloodstream -- just like your Sudafed pill would put it in there. It has worked for me when I have had a nuisance erection from a shot that doesn't want to go down.

4 hrs, 10 min before Trimix wore off.. Took 60 mgs Sudafed at the 3 hr 45 min point. Not sure if it was the duration or Sudafed, but finally....

Per Jim's post: Some clarification at least for how it is here in NYS:

Although you don't need a 'script, you cannot buy the "good stuff" right off the shelf, you have to ask for it, and sign for it if memory serves. The generic brands (at least Walmart's) DO contain pseudoephedrine.

Yes! works great and every time for me. First time after the trial run in Dr office i took 25 units of the strongest Edex (40 parts per something) as directed.
It was WAY too much for me and my "erection lasting 4 hours" deadline hit at close to midnight....even after a very satisfying orgasm, two for my wife!. I called the dr and she directed me to take 4 sudafed, with that long named drug in it. Confusing as there are so many different types. I wasn't told about sudafed until then. Luckily I live 3 miles from a 24 hour drug store so I could get what I needed, non=prescription but needed to show ID. Sure did feel "well endowed" walking around in the huge store (ha ha!).

Anyway I think they should inform every injector, regardless of the type med used, tri-mix or any other, aboout how Sudafed should be kept available at home and when you travel. since that forst time I use it maybe 20% of the time.

Pills. They are kept behind the counter and you have to ask for them , that way you cannot buy enough to make Meth. If we are on this forum we already have enough physical problems without putting that poison in our bodies.

Pls, what is Meth? There are many medication in my country for combating colds and flu that contain this ingredient. They are sold openly in the markets, shops and streets - apparently, no-one (including myself) knows about Meth or gives a damn about it.

Again pls, should I take it that if I am about to make love but I have taken an anti cold pill, I would not be able to get it up?
