Great posting Josh thanks for sharing!
I have been working with the rubber rings really enjoy them . I have a three rings set use the largest to ring the whole package. and smallest one at the base of my penis.
Once I "get it going" I switch to the the middle ring at the base. Do other guys use more then one ring ?
After your posting I found a set of metal rings the big one for the whole package hasn't work for me yet but the metal one at the base fits nicely and have a great look and feel.
Best to all, Chuck

Re: Cock & Ball Ring Tutorial
Great tutorial! The best $2.00 I ever spent was to buy a 2-inch harness ring at Home Depot. I used it with a tension device with great success. It's a little scary at first, not wanting to have it stuck on, but your tutorial and practice helped me use it successfully It's weird the way it works. Thanks!

Re: Cock & Ball Ring Tutorial
Good tutorial..I use surgical tubing and it works well. Kind of a "bolo" that allows me to tighten it as tight as necessary. I'm pretty jealous though that you seem to get a very nice erection. Being diabetic AND post surgery, It takes a lot of pumping to get some action for me. I was alittle leery about puting the ring (or bolo) around the whole package but it not only helps to keep a little hardness it also feels kinda kinky and nice. I have to shave, but that's also kinda kinky since it helps to get a little better presentation.

So once you start to get an erection, you slip off the smallest one and put on a larger one to accomdate the increased gith of your shaft? Have you ever had the smaller one get stuck before you can transition to the larger one?
I've tried doing a C&B ring PLUS a ring at the base of my shaft, but the second ring doesn't give me any added advantage. Some guys use multiple rings... whatever (safely) works, do it!Chuck11 wrote:Do other guys use more then one ring ?

Like I said, some guys find a shaft-only ring works better for them. I'm pretty pragmatic. Whatever works, use it.

Thanks beachbumb and RM.... I like hearing what works for other guys.
RM, I've seen 'bolo' style cockrings for sale, and they do have the advantage of 'quick release'. I suppose I could find surgical tubing online and find something to cinch it as well. The "adult toy" variety are very overpriced.

Re: Cock & Ball Ring Tutorial
I guess my ED has gotten worse, because my old cock rings no longer maintain my erections after pumping. I read about the Osbon Erectaid ring and ordered the medium high tension model and it works just fine and provides me with a 90 to 95% erection after kegeling in additional blood after withdrawing from the tube. However, my penis starts to loose sensitivity after 10 minutes and it starts to become very uncomfortable and needs to be removed after 20 minutes.
I have tried the metal rings in the past without pumping first and they had little or no effect on my erections. Last week I took my needed Viagra, pumped up my penis for 15 minutes, and after exiting the tube, slid on my metal 1.5" ID cock ring (my pumped girth is about 5" + / -) down to the base of my lubed 60% erection, (It took a bit of coaxing to get it all the way down) I then kegeled for about five minutes to force in additional blood which increased my erection to 90% and maintained it that way for at least 20 minutes with little or no discomfort. I tried it again today without taking Viagra, but the results were disappointing.

Go to the hair products section and buy the rubber rings used to fasten a pony-tail in a girls hair.
There are lots of different ones but some packs with smooth surface and a choice of sizes works well and cost almost nothing.

Other options / uses
1. NEOPRENE TUBING. FT member "Ohohiakane" recently told me in chat that when he worked at Home Depot, he devised a cock ring using neoprene tubing and whittled a wooden plug (from a piece of dowel) to hold the ends together. He used it as a shaft-only ring, but it would have more flexibility than even soft plastic tubing, and the wooden plug could be better custom-fit than a piece of metal screw. It sounds like a great option if you want more stretchiness in a C & B ring.
2. WATER BOTTLE LABEL. This only works with certain brands. (E.g., "Great Value" generic from Wal-Mart) Squeeze a 20 oz. bottle a bit (after drinking at least some of the water!) and slide your finger under the label so you can remove the label while keeping it in a loop. Squish it into a C & B ring that is approximately 2" in diameter. This isn't the most comfortable ring, but McGyver would use it in a pinch.
3. OTHER MATERIALS. At http://www.male-essentials.com, there is a wide variety of materials: leather, brass, neoprene O-rings, rubber O-rings, steel, chrome, aluminum. Their prices are competitive and they have good customer support.
4. ALL DAY USE. I knew some guys wear C & B rings as jewelry, but that never appealed to me. However, Paul Nelson suggested that wearing a cock ring during the day could help keep the engine revved up a bit. It doesn't give you an all-day boner, and if it's loose enough it won't cut off circulation.
However, a steel ring may slip off eventually if you're freeballing or wearing boxers. One solution is to wear a lighter weight ring; I prefer aluminum. Another solution is to wear twor rings; the second ring acts like a "keeper" to keep the first ring in place.

Re: Cock & Ball Ring Tutorial
For many years, I had good success with a 1/2 inch wide rubber band doubled over and stretched around my whole unit (behind the balls). It should be pre-stretched before first use and requires plenty of lube to prevent pinching of skin. It is tight so it needs to be removed within 20 minutes after application.
