Moving Up to 40-2-20 Trimix

I'm seeing my uro at the end of the month and I'm going to have my Trimix prescription increased from 30-2-20 to 40-2-20. That's the next level up my compounding pharmacy regularly stocks. I am getting a reliable 6-7 erection with 30-2-20 but increasing the units injected doesn't lead to a firmer erection -- just longer duration.

I'm hoping the 40-2-20 will give me an extra boost. Anybody using 40-2-20?

Just to be on the same page was far as what you are asking for:

Usually Trimix would be listed as PGE1(mcg)-Pap(mg)-Phent(mg)

Yours is currently listed 30-2-20 ...which MIGHT mean 30 PGE1, 2 Phent, 20 Pap...

However, seldom, if ever, does a trimix formula have 20mg pap.

So.. just guessing that your formula is really 20mcgPGE1, 30mgPap, 2mg Phent.

If that is the case then you are actually asking to increasing Pap level not PGE1,
which is not what you really want -- you want to increase PGE-1.

What you want is more like: 40mcgPGE1, 30mgPap, 2mg Phent.

The thing is, 30mg Pap is almost the limit to what can be dissolved in a Ml of water .. so trying to up Pap to 40mg .. not sure if it would all dissolve! Or if it did it might crystalize back out again weakening your solution.

To be fair there is no rule that says it has to be listed one way or another -- but it sure helps when it is the PGE1- Pap-Phent ordering...

Oh .. one final note: If you really DO have 30mcgPGE1, 2mgPhent, 20mgPap .. you could first try increasing the Pap to 30mg. Not as powerful as increasing PGE-1 but will still get you one step closer. (also asking your Uro -- he might not even know himself what the ordering is-- you might have to ask your Pharmacist...).

I was at the same point you are my uro changed my trimix to 30-2-40 from 30-2-20.

OK that's great.With the mcg label then it is confirmed that you have a standard (pretty good) formula of 20mcgPGE1, 30mgPapaverine, 2mg Phentolamine...

So yes, you could ask Uro to up it to 40mcgPGE1 and you would have a really good kickass formula, Might or might not give to some ache at that level of PGE-1 but if you are not annoyed by the ache then it's all good.

Ask your Uro .. you are now all set as to what to ask for,.

Call ypur compouning pharmasist and ask him what he would recommend prior to talking to ypur uro. One knows much more than the other.
