I did a little research, made some phone calls etc. Even though 2 URO Docs here in NY have the treatment on their web-sites, they are not yet offering it..Why? The machine used is FDA approved, but the procedure isn't..only in America. The machine is specifically designed and used for low intensity ultrasonic therapy for ED, but the procedure isn't?...THere is one physician group I found offering the treatment and they're down in Florida...According to both UROs here in NY I contacted they are awaiting FDA approval of the procedure. In doing other web surfing I found a great deal of articles concerning studies of the procedure with positive results. The procedure is approved in Canada, Europe, Australia, Isreal, etc...However, in reading another forum about ED, one guy said he travelled to Canada to have the treatment(s) done, and there was little to no change in his ED. The guy points out that in all his research, he has yet to come across an actual "live" man who had success with the treatment..Which makes me wonder. If it's so successful it would be all over the blogs, social media and chat rooms..but there seems to be a vacuum of personal success stories. While surfing the web I did come across one article warning men NOT to try this at home using TENS machines or other ultrasound devices. You could do more harm than good...just saying...I would proceed with caution myself..There is also the cost factor which right now seems to shrouded in secrecy...the only quote I received was from the URO group in Florida ( link in my earlier post)..the cost was $1500 all inclusive for the entire treatment protocol....

Your skepticism is warranted, and pertains to all kinds of medical treatments. If there is some unusual treatment that is claimed to fix whatever problem, yet you can find nobody who has benefited from it, you have to wonder. If there is a magic cure for something then lots of docs would be using and recommending it, and people would be singing its praises.

Just wondering what is going on in these countries where this shock machine is being used. It has been approved for a few years. There has to be some kind of success rate going on. Would like to hear from our European friends and people around the world about this process. I also talk to the guy down in Florida. A Englishman and of course he was very convincing.

There is a doctor offering this treatment in California. He even has a video of it on YouTube.

I agree, it would be nice to hear from other people around the world. I know there are some guys on this site from the UK...any takers??..It would be a valuable service if you are aware of this treatment and any successes..

Sometimes we miss things, while they are so close to us. I was living in Europe too, and as far as i know, there is this option in Spain too. As a disclosure, i was in Dr. Goldstein's office, in March this year, for help regarding my penile fracture. I am in no way associated with him.

I can help people here to a certain extent on travel tips and info, since i lived in a neighbouring country with spain, before.

I went through a treatment with 6 sessions of shock wave therapy. I have venous leak. Unfortunately the result was not very good. Maybe 6 times was not enough for me. Every case is different.
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

I called a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico about the shock wave therapy. I was willing to drive down from Los Angeles and would have paid a couple thousand dollars for the treatment. I was shocked when they emailed me the fee: $3,900 for 4-half an hour sessions. That's $2,000 an hour. Are they out of their mind. I'm hoping that it gets FDA clearance soon here in the US.

Wait 6 months after it gets approved in the US. Watch the price drop.

I have been waiting for years for it to be approved in the US.
I contacted the sales rep for the US. They have been telling me anytime soon for more than 2 years now.
It is not new technology. Only real downside is that it might not work.

Place in the city told me they alredy do it.
I drought it. They gave me a price even higher than what they qoted you for in Mexico.
I then sent a place in Canada an email.
They gave me a price. I asked them if I had to stay overnight.
Then told them I am in the US. Then I was told it is a higher price. Because I am not Canadian.

What it would cost me to travel from here to Canada and the price to have it done in the city would be much closer.
plabe is much quicker than bus. The plane ticket was much more than the bus. Eat up a lot of time on bus.
Either way it was going to cost about the same.

Even If approved today I would wait a few months. Let them start competing for price.

Been like this along time a few more months will not bother me.
I have also heard it does not work. I don't think it would work for everyone anyway.
Thinking of getting implant. Have not done it because of the length I
have lost.
