I know you guys aren't doctors but you seem an intelligent, enlightened and knowledgable bunch so bouncing ideas off of you is helpful.
I've spoken on here of my case and my two differing diagnoses - one saying I have a venous leak, the other saying my problem is deeply psychogenic. Even though the latter was the result of a Doppler test with excellent results and from a sexual medicine specialist team I still find it hard to believe, what with my EQ being as it is without the help of pills and little to no morning wood.
I am wondering whether something more deeply sinister is occurring in my body.
My erection difficulty did start to wane when I was about 22 following an episode of loss with a gorgeous young girl at university. I remember it well.
However, since around 18, I have suffered with an as-yet undiagnosed condition whereby my tongue is coated in yellow at the back, I have thick hairy patches towards the back and I used to regularly develop sores on the tongue. They were quite frequent but now I get them rarely. But I still do get them. At the time, I thought I'd contracted HIV and it took me a long time to get tested as I was sure I had it. But i was tested and have been tested many times since. I am no HIV positive.
Nevertheless, since then, at 26 I got Lymphoma, yes a blood cancer. I have suffered with repeated tonsillitis (since having them removed). The lymphoma was a year long battle. I survived. A lot of chemo and a stem cell transplant later.
My erection ability is diminished, no doubt. I really don't think it could all be in my mind.
So, my question to you guys is, do you think something more systemic and sinister is occurring in my body? I'm sure it would have been identified by now as so many batteries of bloods and tests were run when I was undergoing the investigations for my lymphoma.
Could something have illuded the doctors? Could I be harbouring some kind of auto immune condition?
I'm going to see the GP soon to ask to go back to square 1. Seeing London Andrology for the dick soon.
Something more sinister?
Something more sinister?
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

Wow! You sure have had your fill of issues. Sorry!
The thick "hairy" patches are not really hair, but the papilla on the tongue not shedding normally, thus appearing longer and hairy looking. Both this and the yellow coating points to a fungal infection that may be systemic. When it occurs in the mouth it is usually called thrush.
A systemic fungal (yeast) infection can be the result of the chemo that disrupted the immune system, making you more susceptible. In other words, your immune system is likely in poor shape, allowing opportunistic infections to take hold abnormally.
The ED may be simply because your entire body is weakened trying to fight this infection and, as indicated by your tongue, is losing the battle.
I see you are in the UK. You may want to consider a Naturopathic doctor that is used to dealing with these kinds of conditions. If you can't find one, private message me and I will try to help. The basic starting point is to build your immune system back to the point where it is functional again, and to use a natural antifungal to nail the infection both internally and externally.
