? Peyronies ? Corporal Fibrosis

Postby defiant » Wed Aug 31, 2016 3:09 pm

Hey guys,

So some of you may have read my story.

Poor EQ
3 different consultations - 3 ultrasounds
1 said Venous Leak
The other 2 Andrology specialists said NO venous leak, all psychogenic

I forgot to mention to them though I have a very small lump under the skin on the dorsal side of the shaft (side closest to your belly)

It's about half the size of a BB pellet and not painful.

I have no bend in the shaft. But post erection my penis does have a full ache.

Could this be Peyronie's or worse yet, corporal fibrosis?

Surely they would have noticed this!!!!??!???

It doesn't sound like Peyronies. Peyronies most always presents itself with some curvature and/or hourglassing. I have Peyronies and was diagnosed with Corporal Fibrosis. This left me with a left bend of about 75 degrees.

You must seek out an extremely good uro who has been treating Peyronies for some time for your diagnosis.

Unless you are losing your erection I would rule out Venous Leakage.

Do you or have you had any injury to your penis that may be contributing to your pain issue?

Hi Jimbruski!

Thanks so much for your lengthy reply! I'm sorry to hear about your PD, how is the battle faring? I hope well!

Well I have no bend in the shaft but do have some congenital curvature at the base which the doctor I saw said was normal.

I do not recall injury of any kind.

I am losing my erections but....

After 2 negative ultrasounds with sex med specialists no venous leakage has been found which leaves perhaps low T, which was normal in 2013 (had this deteriorating problem over 10 years now) or some other kind of problem.

The specialists believe it's psychological. To be fair, the psych aspect for me is HUGE. It is more an indoctrinated belief in my subconscious and conscious mind that I will not get it up.

Yes, the psychological aspect is huge, especially as we age. Have you tried Viagra or Cialis? They may help in maintaining your erection.

I'm curious what may be causing you pain though. Please keep us updated if you find out and seek out a really good uro. One who is trained and has experience with Peyronies for your diagnosis. There are many good urologist out there but they have limited experience with Peyronies.

Defiant

One night I hanoticed that my shaft was bent to the left during sex. Before this I had a pain at times during sex or when my wife would grab it for oral. :o The bend disappeared but saw other crap on my shaft.

Later I noticed a nodule and a dent along the shaft. Went to the doctor and he said it was peyronies and said there was nothing that could be done but watch and wait. Also to take Vit E or rub it on the shaft? Well he was my surgeon that took out my kidney so he probably wasn't familiar with what to do next but he should have told me about the VED.

Well, I got more nodules and dents and was losing length and girth. The peyronies site was what got me going in the right direction and eventually ended up with the implant by Eid. You have got to act fast IMHO.

I had fibrosis and lucky i still have the ability to get a softie because it didn't affect the spongiosm. You have a right to be concerned.
In other words they call it peyronies. Are you on any heart meds?

Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.

Hi Jimbruski, something for you to go and look at to see if the magic can be worked on you it jelqing and stretching, so go over to www.pegym.com put jelqing a stretching for Peyronie's and see what it throws up, you may find it interesting, and if you can join and put some questions to Big Al, he may be able to help as well. OK

I had a similar scare a few years ago from injections...I went on to the Peyronie's web site and received the best and most helpful information on scarring, Peyronie's and how it's treated. First off you have to get to a Peyronie's specialist..A standard URO guy will not know much about how to treat it...one important thing...start treatment early and be patient and follow it to a "T"... Standard treatment is a medication called Pentox or Trenton 400mgs twice a day, along with Vitamin E and penile rehab with a pump...everyday for 15 min...and you don't over pump. The Peyronie's web-site has a protocol on it to follow on how to rehab your "member" with a pump. I was also told to stop injecting while I underwent the treatment..It took almost 1 year but the scarring disappeared along with the pea size nodules under my skin along the shaft. There is a Peyronie's member with the ID "Old Man" who is extremely helpful in guiding someone through the pumping protocol. In fact he developed it, and he's 85 years old, still sexually active and Peyronie "free"...I would go on that site and read everything you can on Peyronie's..and get to a specialist fast. The quicker you go under the treatment the better your chances of either reversing the disease or stopping it from progressing further. The "old" thinking used to be to wait and do nothing. A certain percentage of people have a natural resolution to the problem...but many don't...It's a complicated disease for sure...I have been back to injections for about a year now thank God I'm still free of scarring but only can do it 1-2 times a week...and I still pump daily for 15min per session...and thank God I'm still free of scarring. I hope this helps,,,
