Hi all,
36 year old from UK. ED since 24 years. Gradual onset: Initially mild ED but by age 26-7 was severe. Now completely impotent and require 20mg Cialis for penetrative sex. No nocturnal erections. Saw some mild improvement at age 27 when I gave up hydrocortisone that I’d been using (probably too) regularly for eczema. Doctors said hydrocortisone had no role to play but I’m not convinced. Things took a turn for the worse in early 2015. Not sure why.
Have periodically approached medical professionals over the past 10 years. In May 2015 a urologist speculated that I had corporal fibrosis and/or peyronies, so I’ve spent a lot of time on the peyronies society forum, which has been very helpful. However, an MRI and ultrasound this year apparently showed that I do not have C.F. Not sure I trust the MRI scan results as the caverject did not take effect and the images were supposedly not optimum.
Upon physical examination one can detect an internal ‘woodiness’ in my penis which becomes more evident as you get closer to the glans. This has been picked up by several urologists, hence the idea that I have corporal fibrosis. But if not corporal fibrosis, then what? Any suggestions?
A few other symptoms: less of length when flaccid, loss of girth when erect. Glans engorge when semi erect but then shrink once fully erect. I’m very ‘tight’ down there and despite being relatively fit, the slightest exercise causes my penis to shrink to the point that it retracts within the body almost completely.
Currently on 10mg Cialis a day, using VED when I can, and awaiting results of an NPT test. VED has helped a little. I’m hoping that continued use will sustain what little functionality I have left. I find the idea of an implant quite abhorrent and I suspect my wife would as well. But I’m consoled by some positive reviews I’ve read.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what this ‘woodiness’ might be I’d be very grateful.
Many thanks
Peety

Re: Hi, new member from UK, 36 years old.
Hi Peety And your very welcome, sorry for your problems but these things happen and us guys without our erections is a killer, but there' always hope if you keep looking, so did some research and I think if you do some reading up your see that your problem could be from a build up of plaque which is the problem with Peyronies disease, hence your woodiness your find is plaque.
Now one of the ways of getting rid of plaque is good old Cayenne pepper, now I have a mix your find tagged on the end of my post DRUGS VERSUS HERBS, HERBS MY CHOICE, which you find on the first page of general discussions forum, so think this could help your problem but it will take time.
Now for this lose of lenth from exercising could be overcome with some jelqing and stretching, these would also help with the breakdown of the plaque, for these you go to www.pegym.com just under the header banner your see penis exercises I do jelqing both left and right handed ones, I do the double jelq that's the exercise where one and follows the other behind it, also crank stretching left and right and the downward stretch, I do what I call an easy day, which is 15 22 and 30 reps, and the harder day which is 18 27 and 37 by 3 sets on the two days then a two day break don't forget your warm up and use baby oil for lubrication, a must, but have a look round the site all very helpful, and if you think it would help ask Big Al you can post to him.
Hope this helps you

Hi NOWHARD,
Thanks for your reply and advice. Hmm, I also thought that the woodiness was plaque and/or fibrosis of the erectile tissues, however, apparently if this was the case this would have been picked up by the MRI.
I'm doing quite well with the VED, however I'm slightly reluctant to begin exercises such as jelqing due to the risk of further injury. Some of the peyronies suffers on the PSF had caused their condition due to jelqing.
I've just had an NPT test, which will hopefully demonstrate conclusively that my ED is not psycholigical. Perhaps then I can access cialis on NHS a little easier. It is a constant worry that my supply will run out and I will not have access to more.
Thanks again for your help, I'll take a look at pegym,
Best
Peety

Hi PeetyPeet. Welcome to this house. Like i told you on Peyronies society, don't dreed the idea of an implant so much. There is a lot for you to read here, and i definitely recommend you to stick around and take as much information as possible, as it shows up and also, read up on the most replied threads as well.
