Yes, Donnie, there is often some residual erectile function even after implant. They do not touch the corpus spongiosum (which supplies some erectile function and glans engorgement). Additionally, my doctor told me that if ED was caused by venous leak, that the implant would sometimes "seal up" (even partially) the leak, causing some erectile function to exist even in the corpora cavernosa.
