Doppler ultrasound

Postby thanos » Fri Nov 11, 2016 1:22 pm

I was wondering how accurate is the doppler ultrasound for the diagnosis of ED. I have done three so far and they came back clear but I still have severe ED. Can psychogenic ED be so severe that can affect even masturbation and cause loss of sensation? :(

Hi
My 1st ultrasound came back clear. Everything looked great.
Good flow and everything. I was told he was one of the pioneers in using dopier for ED. The best in city. Got the results I kind of questioned uro about that one.
He even had pictures of how great everything was. I have already had ED and saw several Dr about it. Last resort to find answer.
Few months later I saw an implant guy. He had me come back to get a size of implant and do a Doppler. He showed me pictures with problem. He showed me on the screen real time. To get more info and options went to other implant guy.
He did the same test. I did not tell him before what other guy found. He found same exact problem. Same spot.
Showed me on screen real time.

They have a test where they cut you in the waist area. Top of leg. They run a tube with camera. They check plumbing from heart to down to grion.
They inject you with chemical thru tube. The chemical makes your balls burn.
Luckely it goes away. Then they inject chemical again to get views. Takes awhile.
Sorry I forget the correct MD terms. Truthfully I want to forget whole thing.
You have to go with someone. Because they use some anestisiia. You are awake and feel the burning. Trying to forget it. It is rare that they find the cause in thier.
Even Dr told me before he did that odds where low.

Get another Doppler, get 2 more dooplers before you go thru that groin test.

Thier are 2 veins in penis that need to be in good shape.
Can not say what all implant Dr's do. From 2 I saw they all do it.
Most Uro do not do it. After talking to 2 uro I and years of getting run around story I think most have problem thier.

As far as masturbation. Yes it causes problems with masturbation.
As far as sensation. No problems with me. I can imagine only guess if lack of blood flow may cause lack of sensation. I think it is possible.
That is 2 out of 3.
After talking to the 2nd implant guy I don understand why uro give run around.
Uro could have told me about Doppler years before.
Don't know how many are caused by pshycological issues. But think I'd you have had ED for awhile. Probably not that. I saw a sex therapist. Told me that if injections did not work it was most defiantly not in my head. After talking to me a few minutes I think she told me to get another uro.
Good luck
Thinking of getting implant. Have not done it because of the length I
have lost.

Hi Thanos If so woman has said something to you about lets your not very good at sex are, that then causes you to have performance anxiety, that plants a seed and it just keeps growing till you now at the point where you are now.
You really need to find a psychiatrist who works in that field to unravel your problem, in the last week I was in touch with a women who thinks she could help guys with this problem , but she is not local she a little bit of a way away, but has a clinic on a nice sunny island. OK

Regarding sensation, I think that your penis is more sensitive when fully erect, so a weaker erection may feel like loss of sensation.

Have you had your Testosterone checked? Mine was way way low ("near castrate level") and it took a while but Clomid and Arimidex eventually brought much functionality and sensation back for me.

Cialis seems to make it difficult for me to orgasm.
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

well it can be good to rule out venous leak and scar tissue.

it sounds to me you may have testosterone deficiency, you should get checked out and report back with your numbers.

for me, testosterone really helps with sensitivity and when i lack it, i have low sensitivity.
31 Years old. ED since I was 15/16. Diagnosed with hypogonadism/venous leak at 31. On Clomid/Arimidex mix for HRT. Cured for a week then it stopped. In process to find a solution. Lifelong nightmare but I waited a decade + to get help.
