John,
Due to FT post concerning Revs and religion, I have removed my title from most and future posts. I am only a man, called by God, to His service. More like David, less like Daniel. But a red blooded male nevertheless. Prayers.

Hey Donnie,
What posts concerning Revs and religion. I remember the one thread where a gentleman asked if there were any other Christians on here that wanted to discuss ED. NOWHARD bitched about it, but most everyone else, including an atheist that I had a long conversation with, saw no harmful intent, no discrimination, and no big deal about it.
Is there something else that I've missed?
For me, personally, I couldn't give a rat's ass about being addressed as Reverend. I'm not all that "reverent" and I read somewhere that, theologically speaking, "No one but God qualifies for a holy title such as Reverend."
Anyway, I never asked what you do at Disney and how you ended up there. Since you are musical, I assume it may be in some performance role?? I am sad to say that I can't sing anymore. About 5 years ago I lost my voice, almost overnight, and could only speak in a soft, weak, hoarse tone. I went to the Vanderbilt Speech Clinic and they diagnosed me with bowed vocal cords that do not approximate, so hence the loss of speech. They tried some silly speech therapy on me for about 1 1/2 years and that did no good. Finally, I had vocal cord implants put in to restore my voice. I can now talk most of the time but cannot sing anymore. I am grateful to be able to talk at a normal level but can't talk in a noisy environment and can't project my voice or yell.
Hope your Thanksgiving was good.
The UnReverend Jon.

Re: JB's implant journal
Day 47. An unexpected turn of events.
As you all know my equipment is a little high and to the left due to not using RTEs. RTE's weren't used to give more column strength, more axial rigidity, and to prevent that hinge that develops in some guys over time.
However, after 47 days of healing and pulling down on the pump, it has not lowered and it is causing discomfort. It is, in my opinion, in the way of intercourse on the left side of the penis.
I have kept Dr. Kramer in the loop and last night sent him a detailed letter of my concerns. He called me right up and we talked at length. He has a plan to add tubing and lower the pump. I mentioned the possibility of having Dr. Knoll in Nashville do the revision because he is very close to where I live and he is a very experienced, high-volume surgeon. His surgeries are infra-public, but that doesn't mean he couldn't do scrotal revisions.
Dr. Kramer talked with him and they are absolutely on the same page and Dr. Knoll is willing to do the work. Dr. Kramer was happy to hand me off to him and keep me from having to fly to Baltimore.
So, I see Dr. Knoll for an office visit in the morning where I demonstrate my concerns about positioning/operation of the pump (I need to make sure the pump is working properly. Sometimes it's firm and other times not).
I will keep you guys advised of the journey.

Re: JB's implant journal
John,
This implant stuff is undiscovered territory for all of us. I don't know why some of us have no complications while others, like alibaba and Toonarmy, could write a book. I'm glad I had RTEs but only time will tell if it was a good move. My vasectomy in 1982 was good as there is no vas deferens to tangle with the pump. What's the implant protocol that guarantees 'no problema' (VED protocol,Vasectomy, RTEs, scrotal, infrapubic, old, young) ?There isn't one as we are all different guys who want the same thing, our manhood back.
Prayers,
Donnie

Did Dr.Kramer mention waiting a few more weeks to see if the pump moved to a better position?

When he examined me a couple days after surgery he did say that the pump may settle lower as time goes by. But, I've been in constant communication with him for the last 48 days and there hasn't been any improvement. I think he agreed with me that it may be best to go ahead and make an adjustment before everything gets too settled in.

Thanks Donnie. I think this is going to work out ok. At least I hope so. It is different for each of us. We have very different bodies that respond in very different ways.

Re: JB's implant journal
Well, gentlemen,
This morning I go to see Dr. Knoll in Nashville. He and Dr. Kramer have talked and have an agreed upon plan for making a revision to my plumbing. It is a small procedure that is only supposed to take a few minutes and will nowhere near have the recovery time the implant requires. I think it is going to involve a little repositioning and extensions of tubing.
With the preconnected tubing the implants have and the fact that Dr. Kramer used long cylinders and no RTEs (for a reason) my pump is high. It is also to the left and I want that changed.
Wish me well with my consultation this morning. I imagine we will go ahead and plan the revision and soon because I've met my out of pocket requirements for insurance this year. Therefore, I want this done before the end of the year.

Thanks Jim for the well wishes.
Things are not always as they seem. My visit this morning to Dr. Knoll in Nashville revealed some things. I am going to quote my letter to Dr. Kramer here because I think it explains the morning visit well.
"Good afternoon Dr. Kramer,
I hope your day is going well.
Before leaving for Nashville this morning, I saw on the internet a link to the AMS site where model numbers are listed. My gut said to double check my model even though you and I have thoroughly discussed that I have an LGX.
The model number on my card is not for an LGX, it is clearly for a CX MS 18cm PS IZ with a 3cm RTE. I discussed with Dr. Knoll what to do about that, should I have the whole thing replaced with an LGX?
He stated that for treating someone with Peyronies who needed modeling, the CX is the correct choice and that in his experience the LGX did not work as well in that situation. He minimized the lengthening effect of the LGX and told me that I had plenty of length, above average and I would be fine with this model. He won't even use LGX on someone with Peyronies.
He examined me and definitely concurred that the pump needs to be relocated and that I should be able to run my finger completely down the left side to the base of the penis without encountering tubing, deflate button, or pump. It should feel like my right side does. I asked and he said I have plenty of room in the scrotum to relocate the pump. He says the tips of the cylinders are in perfect position.
He said there would be absolutely no problem doing a revision and that once he gets in there if needed he will replace the pump. It depends on what he finds when he opens me up.
The potentially bad news? His assistant says he has only 3 slots open the rest of the year and she would do her best to get my pre-certification pushed through and get me one of those three spots. She also said sometimes people cancel, but she would not guarantee that it will get done this year.
Anyway, I thought I would update you on how the morning went. I have a good feeling about Dr. Knoll's ability and am glad you knew him well enough to recommend him."
