Seems like the big scare with tri-mix is potential scarring.
I would like to get some feedback from board members on the risk and what you have experienced. Plan to use it once-a-week when I get the prescription.

Re: Tri-mix and scarring
Going on three years. Injecting 3-4 times a week. No scarring.
Eugene, Oregon, USA. Born 1941. Married 1968. ED since mid-1990s. Began trimix January 2014. Dosage gradually increased over time. Added cock ring in 2016. After dosage reached 30 units, switched to quad mix in May 2018. On blood pressure meds.

2 years using Edex injections 2-3 times a week. No scarring.
Re: Tri-mix and scarring
Over 3 years; no bend, but I think the needle did get more difficult to penetrate into the chamber.
What is the danger of scaring?

The main danger with scar tissue in the penis is the onset of peyronies disease. In May I will have been injecting trimix for 3 years now. I have a very slight bend to the right which hasn't changed for over a year, and is no problem thus far.
But I too am experiencing a little difficulty in pushing the needle through the tunica into the corpus cavernosa. I have to proceed a little slower to ensure proper placement of the injection. Once the needle actually bent trying to get through the tunica, but it was no problem and no harm done.

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.
Re: Tri-mix and scarring
I have been injecting for only 8 months, my tunica is tough to pierce. I've used 1/2/ & 5/16 28 and 30 needles, bent 30's. Autoinjecting ALWAYS bends the needle so I quit that.
So maybe everyone's different as I don't think I've developed any scarring to make for a "tough" injection.

I started bending the needles almost every time I shot. Since I've started giving it a swift plunge, no more bent needles. I don't know how that would work without pre-plumping though.
