Question about trimix shelf life

Postby sliphill » Mon Dec 19, 2016 9:22 pm

I got my script of trimix about 5 weeks ago. When I first tried it then, 35 units got me quite hard. Tonight, 55 units gave me a semi, so I injected 30 more. This did the trick, as a matter of fact, I'm still hard an 1 hr and 15 min later. I probably didn't need 30 more units, but I just didn't know what would do the trick. No I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable, but I did take a couple of sudafeds. I used an auto injector for the first injection. The second injection was easy, because I was already bigger and it was easy to stick in. Question, can the trimix be losing some of its potency after 5 weeks?

How are you storing it? Refrigerated? Frozen?

I keep it in the fridge.

Keep it frozen. It will lose substantial potency after 5 weeks in the frig, especially if the frig temp isn't below 40F.
I have gone through multiple freeze/thaw cycles over 6 months with no noticeable loss of potency.

Rahod is correct, especially on the detail about multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Check out the thread titled "Questions on Freezing Trimix.

Ok thanks for the info. Freezing just seems like it would be a PIA, but I will check out that thread. I only have enough for one more dose. But I am getting another vial on Thursday.

Actually, freezing isn't a pain at all. The vial will freeze in minutes -- and also thaw in minutes. Some guys who have a home office purchase one of those small freezer/fridges and store their trimix there.
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Ok, great. We are just talking about a matter of minutes for thawing. That doesn't sound like a PIA at all.

I wait 20 min...but I think 15 min will work for a small vial.

My Trimix comes in 5ML vials. I can put one on the counter and it will thaw in just a few minutes. This is really a non-issue. If you think you are going to inject just take the vial out of the freezer a couple hours before foreplay. I've read that the medicine can be out of the fridge for up to three hours without loss of potency. Other users here report keeping trimix in the fridge for up to a year with no loss in potency. As I noted in an earlier post, If you have a home office you could store the medicine there with pre-filled syringes in the freezer portion of a small unit.

Spontaneity is really a non-issue unless you and the significant are used to pulling over and having sex in the car. If that's your game you should just get an implant! Lol.
