Question about trimix shelf life
Re: Question about trimix shelf life
I received my current 5ml vial on December 9 and store it in the fridge. Is it too late to now begin storing it in the freezer?

Re: Question about trimix shelf life
I would say it's never too late. IMO, the medication isn't like a foodstuff, where there are legitimate concerns about thawing/refreezing.
Eugene, Oregon, USA. Born 1941. Married 1968. ED since mid-1990s. Began trimix January 2014. Dosage gradually increased over time. Added cock ring in 2016. After dosage reached 30 units, switched to quad mix in May 2018. On blood pressure meds.

Ok thanks.
What is the shelf life if kept in the freezer....indefinite? Fridge stored Trimix lasts at least six months for me.

Re: Question about trimix shelf life
c0r5, I don't know about the outer limits for freezing. I go through a 10 ml vial in about four months, keeping it frozen for essentially all of that time, except for brief thaw-louts. I think if you do some searching through the various FT threads you may find some guys who have frozen it for longer periods.
IMO, the time limit is more or less indefinite.

Re: Question about trimix shelf life
I now use a vial frozen 6 months...still good as new.
Re: Question about trimix shelf life
I just found a vial that I had frozen 11 months ago. About 7 of it worked and about 3 I noticed tiny crystals in them so I did not use them. Also out of 10 syringes that I recovered, about 3 gave me only about 50% hardness only (used to be 9/10).
So my experience is therefore, about 40% still worked well only. So 11 months frozen is not that much potency left and you have to be carefully check them before using them.

ED many years, failed PDE5i, on Trimix but recently needing large increasing strengths and doses
Re: Question about trimix shelf life
I suggest you only order vials when you have about 6-9 months of usage each. That way you're looking at 9 months max freezing time. Having said this, I'm confident you can store a vial MUCH LONGER FROZEN with no degradation in potency.
