Alright, first the good news, five years after prostate cancer surgery, and limited success with pills and pumps I finally grew a pair (pun intended) and injected myself with Edex. Success! I had a script for the 20 mcg two pack, my doctor instructed me to use .5 ml (about half the syringe). That’s what I did and was able to have an erection for about two to three hours. So I was able to enjoy sex with my wife without pills or a pump for the first time in a long time.
Now the question, since I only used .5 ml and was able to have an erection for a good period of time, shouldn’t I have my doctor change my script to a 10 mcg Edex? I wouldn’t have to squirt half the 20 mcg tube down the drain and it would be cheaper buying the 10 mcg packs. Am I missing something here? This mcg to ml thing is confusing.
BTW, I used all of the instructions in the injection technique thread and everything went perfectly.
Thanks boys!

Re: Edex Dosage
Edex is expensive. Instead of wasting half buy some 30g 1/2 inch single use syringes and pull the plunger out of the syringe. You can then squirt 10mcg (half) into the syringe and replace the plunger. Refrigerate the syringe and it will be fine a few days later. Alternatively you can freeze the syringe (leave some airspace in the syringe) and it will be good for over several months. Even better and cheaper, get the 40mcg of Edex and you have 4 doses for little more cost.
80 year old Type2 diabetic, long term ED, pills then injections PGE1. After 4 years they became less effective. Implanted 20/3/2018 by NHS. AMS 700 CX 15+4 cm with MS pump. Never had any significant pain. Still working perfectly and used regularly.
