This is the same thing I need to have done, the pump is way too high in the scrotum and the tubing needs to be re-routed. I also need to have the right RTE remeasured and replaced. When inflated it point about 15 degrees to the right, the cylinder is too short.

I have high hopes for it once it heals up. Obviously, it was pretty traumatic to get in there and correct everything. Do you have a doctor in mind?

I worked hard to get mine in before the end of the year because all my out-of-pocket expenses had been used for the year. So, this cost me $0.

Thanks, Sam.

The journey continues. Last night I took one of my two daily warm baths (15 minutes). Things seemed to feel better. Then again that could be contributed to the pain pill!!

Seriously, both sides seem a little less swollen. Dr. Kramer is reassuring and says, swelling is self-determining. It will eventually go down.

I know he's right, but I'm a worry wart and a little impatient. But, it is certainly an adventure.

Day eight post revision -

I think the two 15 minute warm baths per day are helping a little. The surgery was a week ago and there is some improvement in that short period of time.

If you will notice in the pics, there is considerable loose skin on the front of the scrotum. That area is soft and no longer full of swelling, so the stretched skin is an indication that what swelling was there is gone.

I have ways to go yet, but It looks like this is moving on in the right direction.

I just noticed that you and C_lab34 seem to have had similar problems with the placement of the pump and tubing. I wonder if many more of Dr Kramer's patients have had similar issues?

merrix said "You are not the first one on this forum who has left Baltimore with a high pump - and it surprises me considering the doc's reputation."

Dr. Kramer did tell me some reasons that having a slightly higher pump is ok and is a non-issue for most people. He explained the reason for it being like that, but I don't think all his operations end up high.

I am 10 days post-revision. Much of the swelling has gone down. I can clearly feel the definition of my right testicle, but on the left side is a big chunk of stuff including my left ball and the pump apparatus. It feels all stuck together. There is certainly not a pump hanging down the middle at this point with a clearly defined left testicle. So, I'm a little concerned and am going to contact Dr. Knoll who did the surgery. I may just be to impatient, but I am inclined to ask questions if something seems wrong. I don't want to sit around a let things progress worse. I think you can see how the swelling is reducing because there's so much sagging going on. The suture is holding the nutsac up in the middle. That's a little weird.

Thanks bro. I appreciate the prayers. God knows I've enough crap going on my life that I don't need a third surgery!!

I just got an email response from Dr. Knoll. He said "Hi Jonathan What you are experiencing is normal. I did a lot of work in this area. Be patient. Keep doing the sitz bath 15 mins a day,2 times a day. Dean Knoll "

So, I'm not sure what the statement "I did a lot of work in this area" means. I know he did a lot of work on me in that area. But that statement could mean "I've done a lot of work in this type surgery." Not sure which he had in mind, but either way he says "no worries."

I'll keep everyone posted as things hopefully progress. :?

13 days post revision by Dr. Knoll.

I'm still pretty damn sore, so he must have done some serious reconstruction in there. The pump and all is still gathered together along with my left nut with all that other whatever is in there on the left. I'm sensitive on the bottom of the scrotum where the pump rides against the scar. I'm sore at the base where the tubes were removed from the corpora.

The doc says to be patient and do the 2 sitz baths a day so I am trying to be patient, but this is more of a revision than I expected. His description of what he did in surgery was very thorough and made a ton of sense but the end result will be the truth teller.

Again, I sure hope this does turn out alright. If I need a third procedure, where would I turn?
