Are Trimix injections a good option?

Postby Unclebob81 » Fri Jan 13, 2017 2:58 pm

For you guys who've tried the pills and want a different option--here is my experience with Trimix injections. 1. No headaches. 2. Dont have to wait till you have an empty stomach. 3. Always reliable. 4. No headaches. 5. After a few tries--injections are essentially painless. 4. Because my erection lasts past orgasm--can be great for further pleasuring your wife. 6. Since I'm on a fairly low dose--it's less cost than pills and my insurance pays nothing for Trimix. 7. It's given me confidence that I will be firm enough . 8. It works in about 10-15 minutes. 9. Makes me feel young again but hey sex gets better with age! 11. I have firmer and more frequent night time and morning erections since starting injections a couple of times a week even though I'm three plus years post prostatectomy. 12. It's given my wife and I that special oneness back--remember an incredible God gave sex as that special gift. Like most guys it doesn't happen as much as I would like but since my prostectomy my orgasms are more explosive than before.
Born in 1953. Robotic prostectomy in 2013.PSA 0 Began Trimix 3 years after surgery. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Agree 100%on all points you make! Started Trimix back in June after Viagra became problematic over time. One suggestion>>>keep it FROZEN to maintain potency past 2 months.

Don't freeze it. As long as you keep it in the fridge it will last long past the expiration date. I have been on quad mix for two years now. Have been using injections of different levels of bi to tri to quad for at least the last 10 years. Good option to take but do not use the needles they give you with the script get thinner gauge. They give you horse needles and you should try smaller gauge more comfortable.

I respectfully disagree with not freezing it. Two compounders have confirmed with me the best way to store it is to freeze it to keep it from losing it's potency and it will last long past the expiration date. (If you're that unlucky LOL). I simply thaw it and draw a dose to keep in the fridge that I KNOW will be used within 24 hours. :D

My Trimix is shipped frozen with instruction to place one of the five vials in the refrigerator for ready use with the others placed in the freezer for future use.

Unfortunately, after three great years, its effectiveness had wained.

I couldn't agree more with the OP. I've been through all the ED pills and as he stated so well I was tired of the headaches and muscle aches, never seem to judge when sex would happen so wasted more than used.

Trimix is the answer to all my ED issues and I now have the best sex ever! I only wish I had discovered it long ago. I've been on it for two months and I do freeze the vial and thaw to prepare a coupe of syringes to be kept in the refrigerator.

I have an appointment at the Male Clinic. I had an appointment at the Male Clinic and had my diagnosis and options presented. The injection is the most popular treatment. The cost is $30/dose. Ironically I met a friend at a basketball game and he told me he had this injection. He sold me a prefilled 1ml syringe with .2ml of Trimix - $20. I Youtubed the procedure and was totally surprised that I barely felt the needle and it worked. He couldn't tell me the strength. He said he buys it from his pharmacist in the prefilled syringes. I researched and found a compounding pharmacy in Houston/Empower. Empower Pharmacy sells in the following strengths. What strength is the most popular. I know dosing adjustments have been made over time but what is the predominant starting strength? and the needle size?

Trimix - Super Trimix
30mg/ml papaverine HCL - 30mg/ml papaverine HCL
1mg/ml phentolamine mesylate - 2mg/ml phentolamine mesylate
10mcg/ml prostaglandin - 20mcg/ml prostaglandin

Quadmix - Super Quadmix
30mg/ml papaverine HCL - 30mg/ml papaverine HCL
2mg/ml phentolamine mesylate - 4mg/ml phentolamine mesylate
20mcg/ml prostaglandin - 40mcg/ml prostaglandin
200mcg/ml atropine sulfate - 400mcg/ml atropine sulfate

McQueen, that $30 a dose price you're paying is way high and is typical of what's reported on this site about prices at so-called "male clinics." Do a search on here for posts about "trimix price." You'll see that lots of guys have been able to get their cost per injection down below $5 by ordering from any of several reputable mail-order compounding pharmacies. My cost per injection is $1.66.

Some of the posts also talk about the protocol for getting your prescription moved to one of the mail-order providers.
