I had my prostate removed Dec 22nd and bought a pump for rehab which I cant use till Feb 2nd. My question is I'm planning on using injections after rehab and wondering how many guys have a problem with urine leak during oral or intercourse?
I here some guys when they orgasm will even shoot urine.
I have always like oral but not sure if the wife is willing to do that with a leak?

Re: Urine leak after prostate removal
Hello 40, I had RPS March 2014 and had a implant installed Dec 2014. I only leak when I ejaculate while standing or missionary postion. Make sure to empty your bladder before love making and stay on the bottom and you should do fine. it will get better over time. Don't get discouraged, you will get back in the saddle before you know it.

Re: Urine leak after prostate removal
I had urine leakage for 4½ months after my RP in 2000 (I've heard in prostate cancer support groups that guys have different experiences with this problem), including loss of urine during an orgasm. I sure was glad when it was over and I no longer needed pads and diapers and orgasms were urine-free!
Nowadays I may release a couple of drops when I stand after sitting for a while, but I don't care about that tiny bit of urine (the underwear takes care of it). ED was my continuing problem (which I took care of with an implant in 2002, after trying several less-invasive alternatives).
So now I pee just when I want to, and get hard whenever and for as long as I want to.

I had RPC in 2013. did kegel exercises for a long time before surgery. Took about 3 months starting with depends underwear then the maxi pads to the mini. Regained full bladder control. Still have a few dribbles such as being outside in the cold and shiver suddenly but not really a problem. I'm 61.

Re: Urine leak after prostate removal
Yep been doing Kegals before and now after and I had a few accidents at night but been dry for several days with the few drops here and there sitting and standing. I'm using now a thin pad lasts all day and put a heavy pad on for night just incase I leak. Ill use that for several weeks and if all looks good be down to just the thin pads. It has only been 2 weeks since my cath was removed so hoping I'm on my way to being dry. As for the ED Ill start working on that need to heal a bit

40: Good luck with all of this.
I had an RP in June 2012. I was on pads until September. Trying to hold it was still a huge challenge, but in the next year or so I became "almost" normal (no one who had their prostate removed is ever "normal" again). But in the past 1-2 years I've had leaking problems again. No pads, but it is a problem at times.
Urinating during ejaculation (or any other time) is very easy to do with all of Mother Nature's defenses gone.

RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.
