I'm 29. ED for psychological reasons. Had been using Viagra for 2.5 years, but it stopped working.

I decided to go with Dr. Kramer because it is such an important decision and I need the best.

My next step is to get a psychological evaluation because I'm know Kramer will want one given my diagnosis. Then, I need to see my local urologist so that my PCP will work with me to perform Kramer's checklist.

Overall, I'd say I'm about 2 months out.

I have a psychological evaluation scheduled for Monday the 23rd, then it's time to see my local urologist.

My main concerns are:

1. Loss of erect length. My local urologist promised me a loss of 0.25". I don't want this and I've heard from Kramer's patients that they lost no length. Is it possible at all to gain length or girth?

2. No need for revision. I want to be done for the next 15 years after I do this.

How do I know which model is best for me?

It's not possible to predict *exactly* what your post implant length will be, or to "promise" anything about the outcome. Your surgeon can give you an informed estimate, but the end result will depend on your internal anatomy and surgical conditions, which can't be known before the surgery is underway. Many of us, myself included, lost no length, and many, myself included, gained some girth. Your implanted length will be the same as, or very close to, your stretched flaccid length. An implant will not give you more length than you were born with. Let your doctor recommend the proper device based on what he knows about you - he knows a lot more about it than you do, especially if we're talking about Kramer or Eid or one of the other high volume surgeons.

As to future revision, again, the odds are very good that you will go the full 10 or 15 years with no problems, but implants are mechanical devices which can fail. This doesn't happen often, but it is not unheard of.

The odds are that you'll have a successful outcome and be pleased with the results, but when you make your decision you need to have the possible variables in mind.

I have been fortunate not to have any loss but even if I did loose .25" so what. You would still have an erect penis that would work . Right now you don't so think about it, works at 5.25" of not works over the loss of .25". Some many guys worry about a quarter inch that I have a hard problem understanding why.

You will be very happy you did. A friend just had surgery on the 11th and went very well. He drove home on Friday back to North Carolina. Very little discomfort just like mine. He had less bruising then I did but I required a little more work. Can see on YouTube March 2nd, 2016 under Dr. Kramer. Good luck and any questions you have just ask.

Update:

I went to a psychiatrist at the request of my urologist for psychiatric clearance. The psychiatrist said she wanted to make sure I fully understood the surgery, including watching videos of it and wanted me to make another appointment with the urologist to discuss these things and risks before we proceed.

So I have an appointment with the urologist on 1/31 and that is my next step.

Not much of an update, but it's something.

Had appointment with urologist today. Went well. Back to the psychiatrist tomorrow, then hopefully to Dr. Kramer within a month.

I didn't lose any length & certainly gained girth w/ my AMS 700 LGX...very happy w/ the results on that end...

What are the specific issues I should address with Dr. Kramer?

Obviously, I'm concerned about loss of length, but other than that?

Placement of the pump?

Erosion?
