Re: JB's implant journal
Post revision, Day 40
Things have been loosening up. Today I went to see Dr. Knoll and it was a good visit. He examined me and said that everything was really going nicely,
I told him that I had noticed things loosening up down there and he said it will continue to improve.
Right now it's a bit hard to manipulate the pump and feel the deflate button because the tissue surrounding the pump is thick. He said that will change.
The scrotum will continue to stretch back out and lower where the incision pulls up a bit right now. I asked how long until things were back to normal and he said probably another couple months.
I asked him if I would retain my length and he assured me I would. He told me I was free to "use it" and he'd see me in a year!
I take that as a good report and am hoping for the best. Oh, I had my annual prostate exam and PSA test done while I was there because it's that time. Killed two birds with one stone and no need to make another trip to my local urologist.
I emailed Dr. Kramer, who I still consider to be a brilliant surgeon. He was happy for me and mentioned that he has started using a different routing procedure with some extra tubing, if needed, so the "high pump" issue is eliminated. I am glad about that. Even brilliant surgeons learn and grow as they move through life. I would hate to think what would have happened if I hadn't learned and grown during my life.
Well, let's hope that a certain thing below my belt learns to GROW. That will be a very good thing. More progress later.
Blessings, guys.

Pleased.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Thanks Alibaba,
I still have a ways to go. I'm having some inflation problems right now .. Got to keep working with it.

Re: JB's implant journal
Gosh, Day 41 post revision. I got inflated yesterday morning. Seem a bit short, but then again it could just be my perception or the fact that I've not been cycling for a while.
I'm having difficulty inflating, no doubt due to difficulty getting good tactile contact with the pump, but then again it doesn't seem to be doing its job inflating. I pump a lot but nothing much seems to happen.
Dr. Knoll said to totally deflate by holding the button and squeezing my shaft. Then give the bulb a quick firm squeeze til it pops and it should reset. Well, I'm familiar with both those processes and did just that. It didn't reset, though. Still, 30-40 or more pumps and not inflate much at all.
He said if that doesn't work to come back into the office. Not sure what will happen. Here are some of the latest pics for your viewing of the progress.

Congrats, Jon! Looks great!
Re: JB's implant journal
Thanks for the compliment. I am having a hard time inflating and I don't think it's getting as hard as it should.
I've been through a lot so I should be able to survive this stage too.

Re: JB's implant journal
I can relate. When I got my implant, it was difficult in inflate. Actually, I was wishing I could use a players on it.
After awhile, it will work fine.
My was done in 2008 and is working fine.
Hang in there.
